Shawarma Shack — Restaurant in Saint Clair Shores

The food here is always amazing and the portions are very generous. I’ve been a few times now and always enjoy the experience. On my recent visit (9/11/25), I did notice something I thought might be helpful feedback for the future.

While waiting for my order, another guest came in behind us to place hers. The staff member at the counter was seated off to the side on FaceTime with AirPods in behind the front counter, and it took the guest saying “excuse me” a few times and eventually waving to get their attention since she couldn’t hear her. I work in the food industry myself, so I completely understand that things can get busy or slow but being on a personal call at the front can make guests feel overlooked especially if you can’t notice them trying to get your attention.

This doesn’t change the fact that the food is excellent and I’ll definitely be back, but I wanted to share this as constructive feedback to help make the service as strong...

Saint Clair Shores Just Got a Flavor Upgrade.

There’s a new shawarma joint in the neighborhood, and it’s already earned a spot on our regular rotation….The Shawarma Shack!

We’ve stopped by at least eight times since they opened, and here’s why we keep coming back:

This place is new, it’s on 11 & Harper near my work (Sweet Life Cake Shop), so I decided to stop by & try it out for dinner on my way home from work tonight!!! I got a Chicken Shawarma (removed pickles & tomato & added hummus & feta 😉) & a side of Falafel—everything was SOOOO delicious!!!😍🙌 They even threw in a free baklava 🥹🥲🫶 Working right by Shawarma Shack is going to be SO dangerous for me LOL I’m about to be getting this every day at work for lunch 🤣😅 Super reasonably priced, too! & such a nice friendly staff, I can’t wait to go back & support this small family owned business!!❤️ Definitely check it out if you’re in the SCS area & haven’t yet, they’ve only been...
