I was a member for years. While I was going through a divorce and mentally unstable. I fell for a scam. A person claimed to be Brett Eldridge. Sent me checks from different bank in my name and told me there was money in that account. I was instructed to write a check in the $17000. When I went into the bank to retrieve the money, I asked the teller several times if the check cleared. She told me several times it had. So I took the money out and did with it as I was instructed...yes I was not mentally there. A few days later the check bounce, how if it cleared? Now if she had told me there was another step or something I would not have taken the money out but she assured me it cleared. Now they have tried to press charges against me. When that failed they took my boat that I had with them ( I was 2 months behind )and now they are garnishing my wages. They have put it all on me even though their teller told me it cleared. Thanks for not having my back and destroying my life more than it already was. Not only did I get scammed by a stranger but I was scammed...

Will never go thru here again.. was in the hospital got a notice I was late on payment then I got out of the hospital tried to make a payment on it and they refused payment when I only owe $2600 after paying on my truck for 5 years. I'm disabled and truck has blown motor for the last year I been paying on it. They don't want to work with me. Kinda hard to replace a motor and make payments on disability so I chose to let it sit and make the payments. Don't get this wrong I pay them just had a health issues the last month. I've been a member over 20 years! Brought many family and friends to MSGCU. I've had some catastrophic medical issues and bills. I had to close a second, and last CD prematurely. Took a $1200 penalty on the first one. I asked for a break on the penalty on the second CD. They said all they could offer was a 10 percent break on the second $1200 penalty! Really MSGCU?
