If I could give zero to the owner āHi ā that is what he deserves! Today was the absolute worst experience ever! Angel who has done my nails in the past was unable to even hold her head up! She was obviously āUsingā and On something!! She nodded off several times during my color change. When I asked her are you Ok she came to for a moment. I said out loud, this is not fair to me, her and the business! The owner avoided me, leaving the floor going in back to his office., finally after an hour and a half of her ātryingā to paint my toe nails, I went up to him and said, your worker is not well, she not right.. what are you going to do? He said she wanted to come to work!! My thoughts are YOU ARE the OWNER Mr. Hi Demand, AND YOUR CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE your first concern. I told Angel āyou're on somethingā!! and she said āplease donāt tell him that Iāve been drinking!ā I told her youāre MORE than drinking. You need to get help and get in re Hab.. I stopped her and said DO NOT DO anymore on my feet! We walked over to her station and sat at her table as I just could not take any more of this at all! I told her go home, get your life together .she cried and went to collect her things. I looked at Hi Demand the owner and said my shellac was soaked half way off, whoās gonna finish, you or Tony? He said oh no, I gotta go home maybe Tony can!? So, you did not care enough to complete my nails?!! I walked out and said this very horrible, disgusting and not how you conduct business. I told him GET IT TOGETHER MAN!! you have an obligation to the community in which you serve! Listen Hi Demand!! You should have sent her home when she walked in STONED, Drunk and out of touch! How can you allow a āJUNKIEā to work on your customers? Horrible!! I will NEVER return!! AND I urge anyone to stay away because this owner does not care who he has working in his...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreso sad this morning looking at my nails lol. i worked so long to have them nice and long. literally over 6 months. yesterday i scheduled 2 dip appointments for 5:30. only 1 woman there was able to do dip. (so we were told half way thru my friends manicure)
a different girl (clearly friends with one of the workers) walked in 30 minutes after us and was helped immediately for the same thing. i was instructed to soak my hands in a bucket of acetone while my friend was getting her nails done - after about 45 minutes my arms were becoming exhausted and hands so dry they were in pain. i would take them out, they kept telling me to stick them back in and theyād be with me right away. when my friend was done and she was ready to move on to me (now 7pm) i politely said i was not going to sit there while my friend waited and that iād be leaving.
things happen, i wouldāve been totally understanding of the hiccup in scheduling and my ruined manicure. (not to mention my friend did not have a good experience - the woman was rushing the entire time in order to move on to me) but then!!! the woman doing her nails charged my friend an additional $10ā¦. she was confused, too shy to say anything and told me afterwards. i had to then ask the woman, excuse me what did you charge her for? she said my SOAK. i mean come on, itās pretty comical. i have had this happen one other time at a different place - i was totally understanding, they were kind and never expected me to pay a penny.
i shouldāve just dealt with my outgrown manicure a bit longer and gone to my favorite place on the planet - PARIS NAILS IN CLAWSON. my very long nails broke the second i walked out (devastating lol) and my hands are so dry today. paid to sit there for an hour plus to have my hands and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe staff here is wonderful, empathetic to their customers, and truly care about the quality of their work. That's all you need to know.
If you'd like a story, though, here it is:
I made an appointment in advance at a different shop for 9:30am & asked if they could do a full acrylic set in 45 minutes, emphasizing that I would need to be at work by 10:30a. I had an event that friday & there aren't many salons open before 10am. They assured me they could do it.
The morning of my appointment, no one showed up at the salon. After waiting outside for five minutes, I called Hi Demand & was told they could fit me in (I made sure they were willing to work with my rushed schedule).
I got there in a panic, but everyone was kind & patient. Cindy took care of me & did a phenomenal job. She was precise and intentional with every step. We were cutting it close on time, and she accommodated by penciling me in to finish the shaping & polish during my lunch break.
I didn't catch the name of the man who finished the set for me, but he took his time with every fine detail.
The final result is one of the most beautiful manicures I've ever received, and I'm so thankful that first salon never showed! I've found my new nail salon.
I'm kicking myself for not catching everyone's names in my hurry; but the woman working reception, the man who finished my set, and Cindy who did my extensions were all amazing. Keep it up! I'm sorry for my stressful schedule & I promise to make weekend appointments...
