Al's Sporting Goods — Local services in Saint George

Al needs to retrain his staff!! We went to buy an Under Armour bag. When we got to the register we waited about 5 minutes for an associate. We clearly were insight of about 5 who were either talking or oblivious as they walked buy. When an associate finely came he ring us up there were items already rung in. We said they were not ours. The bag rang up as $45 but had a clearly marked sticker saying $40. When we told him he said that was the suggested retail price. He continued and said he could not price match. I told h it's their store!!! You cannot price match your own prices? He fumble around on the register for a minute and said it was ringing up as $60. Again we said it's clearly marked. He said he could not sell it at the price. He could call a manager to see what they say. We opted to leave and not purchase the bag. My wife looked online and found the same bag for $40. She also got a 10% discount for being a nurse. Kudos 👏 Under Armour. If stores want to stay in business they need to train staff on customer service. They also need to honor prices even if they make a mistake. I feel like they are increasing prices just because. If they want to compete with online, focusing on the customer...

After one online purchase my personal sensitive information including credit card data was exposed due to Al's negligence in maintaining adequate system security and internal controls. Al's response at my reasonable request to have them provide credit monitoring service to identify fraudulent activity due to their negligence was:

1. They tried to alleviate any concerns by minimizing the significance of the breach even though this is material data that is not available publicly.
2. Implied by now taking security seriously and implementing new protocols all is good but I find irrelevant as it doesn't address the historical security event with my data.
3. They will take up to 45 days to delete my data from their systems.
4. refused to provide a credit monitoring service to assist in identifying fraudulent activities related to their negligence in securing my data.

If you do choose to do business with Al's know they don't adequately protect your data and will not take reasonable actions to rectify their errors caused by...

Nothing but positive input! Al's Sporting Goods is a great place for pretty much any sports needs, supplies, that a body could find themselves in need of!! I haven't been disappointed or left empty handed yet!!! Kudos Y'all!!! Another trip to St. George, UT for imaging appt. Yep! Al's was a priority stop as well!! I really can't find enough great things to say about the Red Cliffs Mall location and members of The Team that I've had contact with!!! Questions on several interests, options were asked and addressed. Info was received was on point and concise. Keller was on the ball and on his game with this Patriots inquiries and I have not been disappointed once again!
