This is my HONEST review of Mango Voice. To start, the AI features are incredible. We had a patient who was difficult to understand, but the transcript was spot on and helped immensely. I love the overview of the interaction for both the patient's and staff's sentiment about the call. The summary is VERY helpful. I love that it's going to integrate into our new software documenting the call transcripts into their chart! I love the ease of building and modifying the switchboard. Our previous phone provider had a mess of chart and list on different windows. I never could get it to work correctly without having to call them and then spending an hour trying to figure it out too. But this is so easy to visualize, test, and change if you're out of town for a holiday, CE course, you name it! Love that part too! The phones were very easy to get set up with all of our referral speed dials. The cordless ones even updated automatic! The sound quality has been great, and overall from a practice marking standpoint, it was an excellent choice. However, here's the con.... And it's a big one. I was sold as if they had a fully functioning and fabulous soft phone. I work completely remotely, and we'll, let's just say I had to delete their app from my phone and redownload the old soft phone app from our previous provider to be able to use a phone (our number hasn't ported over yet which isn't any issue as we have the calls forwarded...) So I'm using the old one because there's is well, in its current start, GARBAGE for Android users. They did assure me they have a team that is dedicated to improving it's functionality, but they didn't have a date as to when the next update will be completed. Assuming that one does help make it functional. But that being said. I spoke with Tyler and he's was a huge help at helping me find a work around till it's a bug-proff and a exceptional. I was very grateful for his help, and all their prompt, courteous and professional support representatives. The sales team was very knowledgeable and well versed about Dentistry which I appreciated. They were not pushy, just helpful and supportive. They also gave an INCREDIBLE referral to check out Curve Dental and after much research, we have changed. So they were amazing on so many levels. But, while the android app royally sucks, everything else has been A++. Hoping they'll invest in the app as they are saying they will, because then, I could hands down say the best VOIP Provider I've used....
   Read moreSo far not so great... I work for a dental office, we've been signed up with Mango Voice for less than a month and our phones have gone down for at least an hour- usually longer, 3 times! We are a very busy office so to not receive any phone calls for 1 hour+ is a big loss of business.
Their online account system is great, they give you total control of your system and where/how your calls are run through but not very helpful if your phones are not even working. Whenever the phones go down I try to have them forward to an employees cell but the call gets dropped within a couple of minutes. If you try to call customer service during this time- if you actually can get through and be placed on hold "you are caller 20+" always and then if you wait long enough and get somewhere less than caller 5 it drops your call. I have called customer service regarding other issues and can usually get right in so it appears to me that when our phones go down ALL of their customers phones are going down and that is why it is so ridiculously hard to get a hold of someone.
I'd just cancel our service but they locked us in a 3 year contract and made us pay for a whole year of service up front. We may still look into cancelling since if this trend continues we'll be losing more money keeping them as our phone provider than if we just paid for 2 different...
