I am writing specifically about the printing department at this Office Depot location. My fiance and I chose to use Office Depot to print the invitations and RSVPs for our upcoming wedding. HUGE MISTAKE. The first time we went in and tried to order, their computer couldn't read the files on my hard drive, so they gave me a business card with an email address I could send my print order to. We were told over the phone that the printing process takes 24 hours from the time the order is placed, keep this in mind. I ordered everything I needed that night, expecting the order to be done the next evening, or the morning after that at the latest. A couple days went by and there was no communication. We called and emailed several times, each time the associates saying they didn't know what we were talking about, they always took a long time to find the email in which I sent my order, and they always said "[Person] was supposed to start it, but I don't see it, I'll start on it tonight and get it done as soon as possible." This exact same thing happened at LEAST 3 times we had called and went in to the store. Finally, after almost a week of waiting and my fiance having to complain multiple times, they finally completed our print order. We were grateful for the discounts they gave us and we were happy to never work with this store again. Unfortunately, we ran low on invites and just recently had to order again. Almost the same thing happened. I ordered on Friday at 10am, expecting the order to be complete by Saturday at 10am. We went in around noon to check on the status. Our order was not done. The girl checked the email and said "Oh, it's here. It hasn't been opened yet." If you are able to send print jobs via email, WHY ARE THE ASSOCIATES NOT CHECKING THE EMAIL? She seemed bewildered when we told her when we had placed the order. She said she could have the order done in 15-20 minutes, but my fiance told her that we could pick them up later in the evening, so there was no immediate rush. Bad idea. I called several hours later, they still had not started on the order. The order I had placed Friday morning was not complete until Sunday afternoon. Not only that, but when I got home and opened my order, the colors were wrong. The sizing on my RSVPs was not the same as the first order. I sent the exact same files with the exact same instructions, how is that I got two completely different things? Huge waste of time, money, and stress. This department needs a lot of work. Don't make promises of being done within 24 hours and then take days or weeks to complete. I will never be using this Office Depot...
Read moreThis is about the printing department specifically. I am I working artist and at this time of the year I sell a lot of Christmas cards on Amazon. I took 20 dozen printed cards to be trimmed from 8 1/2x11 to 7x10. Told them not to hurry and picked up the cards 2 days later. Although the 1st 3 dozen in each of the stacks I gave them were OK, The cards were very gradually out of square such debt halfway down each stack one sided the card was a full 1/8 inch bigger than the other and at the bottom of the stack it was almost a quarter inch. When I return to the store to complain, the workers 1st comment was 'I did not cut them.' The 2nd comment was it's the cutting blade's fault. Since when is poor equipment and excuse for delivering a poor product? Their lack of concern was especially troubling. I will...
Read moreTwo women that work here have horrible customer service and are completely rude. Their names are Katrina and Emma. I witnessed them being rude to a cashier and when I went to ask about teacher discounts they were extremely rude saying there is no such thing. As the cashier told me and SHOWED ME she has a code for a teacher discount but they won’t let her give it. The women seemed annoyed to do their job. Then Emma told me that she can’t give me the general managers phone number and that I would have to call the number to the store that I was in. Not to mention, the rest rooms were disgusting, the store was uncared for, and the self printing service...
