I came here for my son's homecoming outfit. He's very small, pant size 28 and wears a men's small in tops, so we asked for a "fitted" black shirt and pant rental and was told they could do that for us. Mind you, I've never rented a men's outfit before so I trusted the employee when he said they could provide a fitted outfit in my son's size.

Came time to pick it up, it was much too big. Not something anyone would consider fitted by any means. I contacted them the next morning about the fitting, they said they cannot make their rental clothing any smaller and they refused to refund any proportion of the $180 I paid. They said my son (who is too shy at times to speak up) should have said he didn't like the fit when he was there, as though that would have made any difference. They knew from the time we first walked in they could not provide a fitted shirt and pant in my son's size, so rather than telling us that from the beginning, they waste our time and my money on a baggy shirt and pant that my son never asked for.

On top of this the manager/owner, Miles, was rude and condensing when I came in to return the unused outfit that day, which was the day before homecoming so it was apparent it hadn't been worn. I was not rude about this issue with anyone that worked there. I asked nicely if I could at least get a partial refund, he said he'd check with the company they go through for their rentals but not without saying "I wouldn't refund you anything". There was no apology for the inconvenience of the poorly fitted outfit, let alone an offer to make this poor experience right. I was only met with absolute rudeness. I'm guessing Miles is the same individual that has responded unprofessional to negative reviews Liebowitz gets here on Google. With all that being said, I would never recommend this business to anyone looking for a professional...

I was on my way from northeast Kansas to a business dinner in Kansas City and was excited to see visit Leibowitz to see what they had to offer. Though I had a suit in my car, I hoped to come away with a new sportcoat and perhaps a new option for quality menswear that wasn't a chain store.

Unfortunately, I spent 10 minutes milling around the store with not a person acknowledging my presence. There were several people visible just inside the back of the store, but they never bothered to speak to me. There was also a dapper younger gentlemen, probably college age, staring at his phone the entire time I was there. He did do me the courtesy of briefly looking up at me (so at least he knew I was there), but then returned his gaze to the device in his hand.

I am glad I did not count on finding a jacket last night or I would have scrambled to find one on down the road in Kansas City. Not only will I not return to this store, but I will have no positive words for this shop if ever asked. Their goods look top notch and the store was beautiful, but they made a mistake in judging me by the t-shirt, shorts, and sandals I entered in. Maybe don't judge a book...
