Originally my fiancé and I were very excited to get our rings from this jewelry store as it was a locally owned business that was part of our city's history. I had a ring sized there previously and had assumed it was my fault when I didn't get a call letting me know my ring was ready (one month later I gave them a call asking what was up). Despite this hiccup my fiancé and I went in to pick out a band for him (my treat) he had found a ring he loved, was sized and the older woman who helped us wrote down the specifics of what we wanted. She assured us that I don't need to pay for it right away and that she would be placing our order when the date of the wedding got closer. About a month later we went in again to look at wedding bands for myself (the same woman was helping us) while there we inquired about my fiancé's band she claimed she didn't remember writing anything down for us. She recommended that we pick out another band for him since the original one he picked out was no longer there. I'm guessing it was sold to someone else in the mean time. So we pick out a different ring, one for myself and one for him. Once again she assured us that no payments at this point were necessary and that our orders were written down and she would place them two months prior to our wedding date. Fast forward to yesterday (exactly two months until our date) I was in the neighborhood and had a gut feeling I should go in and double check our order was placed. Luckily I trusted my guy because when I walked in the woman who had helped me numerous times in the past didn't even remember who I was. Worried, I asked her to give me an eta on our ring order. She asked for both my name and my fiancé's and for the next half hour went searching in various rooms for our order forms. She then tells me it seems as though my orders have been lost and things of this nature never happen, she's usually very organized. As before she suggested I pick out another band. Trying to remain composed o let her know that it was not my ring it was for my fiancé and I don't remember what he picked out. She asked if I would come back in with him to start this whole process over again and I simply nodded and walked out of the store. I'm not sure how this place stays in business with these sort of practices. It seems as though they need to step into the 21st century with their catalog systems and...
Read moreWe had a amazing experience with landmark jewelry! My husband picked out my engagement ring here and we also got our wedding bands here. I would highly recommend there services. Landmark is locally owned and you will work with local people. Every time we have gone in they have always cleaned my ring and did a quick inspection to make sure everything looks good.
A few unique parts of this jewelry store, Landmark has a antique jewelry and ring collection. This is unique to this jewelry store! People seek their store out to bring their estate and antique jewelry in. My ring is from the 1920s and is just stunning! There whole store has many vintage vibes. Every time people ask me the store behind it, they are amazed! Sarah does not need to go out to find this jewelry, people find her and it speaks volumes to her business!
You will get great caring service here, beautiful jewelry and great experience. Often times they offered us a beer or champagne while we shopped. My friend got her ring from a big box store and it has broken over 5 times in two years. That is the very reason you go with a local store! They treat you well and make sure your purchase will last a lifetime....
Read moreI've been shopping at Landmark for a few years now, and I've always had a wonderful experience. I bought my wife's engagement ring, both of our wedding bands, and a pair of earrings. My wife regularly stops in to have her jewelry cleaned, which the shop does for free.
The staff is very knowledgeable about gems, metals, and jewelry trends. I've never felt pressured to buy anything or go beyond my budget. Other shops I've checked out have given me the hard sell or tried to convince me that I was getting some outrageous deal. There are no creepy sales tactics at Landmark.
Tamara, the new owner, helped us when we bought our wedding bands. She has a long history in the industry, and she was great to work with. I will absolutely be buying more...
