The ice sculptures are always a treat to enjoy, and all of the activities such as ice skating, ice slide, music, and festivities are wonderful celebrations of the indomitable and joyous human spirit.

My only criticism lies not with the event but with the changing world that threatens much of that had made the event so great; the world has become a place where the ice Palaces, once grand and magical towering structures that inspired true awe, are no longer as in the old days...
