Have been a solid place to shop for MSRP. Owner is a cool guy who seems to work his ass off, however todays experience warrants an immediate 1 star review lol. Went in simply to buy a precon, some packs and see the trade value of two items. When I asked about the trade in price he quoted me at 50% which is fine. The cards are about 30 usd each so I figured I'd check online for the policy. I accidently looked up level up games, not this level up. Which has better trade in values. A young man with bleach blone hair and pale white skins looked and sassily says "that's not us" to which i was like oh my mistake it says level up games lol. I then asked if there was a policy I could look at, for reference and future trades to see if they ever did over 50%. His attitude continued and he says "no" nothing else. I told him the attitude wasn't appreciated and the owner is cool and never acts like that. I then got on my phone and found the policy in minutes 😆. Then I told my partner we wouldn't be trading the cards in. I proceeded to get help intentionally from another clerk with cat ears a girl whose there often and delightful. He then came back up to us at the register and asked if I found the number I was looking for. Not only was this guy rude. He didn't listen to me at all, thought I said I was going to call the owner or something. Told him I got a personal number for that xD. What an awful experience. You guys can...
Read moreI’ve bought a PS3 and a PSP here. Both times the warranty stickers were intact and the consoles were broken. Which means that they do not open and clean the consoles like they say they do. In fact I actually open them and clean them myself. They are literally not cleaned at all. I don’t know if they’re the ones doing it, but it sucks because it's like they sale broken stuff on purpose in order to get your cash and leave you stuck with store credit. Watch what you get from these people. They never have asked me about anything I return that’s missing the warranty label because they’re probably aware that I know they don’t clean them or even open them at all. The first PS3 they sold me had YLOD. That means they didn't even test it. Hate to leave a negative review but as much as I like this place. They tend to give you a pretty disappointing experience when it comes...
Read moreI recently attended a pre-release event at Level Up Games and accidentally left behind my most prized possession: a Pikachu binder filled with my collection. I was panicked when I realized it was gone.
The staff at Level Up Games were phenomenal. They found the binder and secured it immediately. When I contacted them, they were so careful, asking specific questions to verify I was the true owner before returning it. Their integrity and compassion throughout the process were outstanding.
This experience showed me that Level Up isn't just a store; it's a community pillar run by honest, kind, and empathetic people. I am endlessly grateful and will always...
