T T Angel Nails — Local services in Saint Paul

This shop is horrible. They don’t even want to tell you the price when you come in. This is my second time coming to this shop. I said I wasn’t going to come back after the first time. Today I had no other choice my normal salon was closed. I have an engagement to attend. First of all the prices are way too high. And the only one who knows how to half way do a decent job is Vanessa. This lady kept putting clear on my nails. I have never in my life had my nails this thick. I’m going to have to go somewhere else and get a polish change. She said $70.00 after I kept asking the price. I believe they size the customer up and give a price based on if they think they can get more then what the normal price for a service is. Most salons have a set price. This shop is money hungry. When I gave her my card she took 72.53. After she quoted me $70.00. I looked at the receipt it wasn’t for tax she just took it because she could. And I gave her a $5.00 tip being nice. If I knew she was gonna take more than what she told me the service was I would have never tipped her. It’s not the money it’s the principle. And the horrible job she did. I wouldn’t usually leave a negative review and just move on but it was ridiculous. Called a day before and set up an appointment at 5:30- came in the next day and was told to “wait” not even a sorry or a please- 30 minutes later no one had even approached me. By 6:00 they asked if I could wait for fifteen more minutes- I said it was kind of frustrating but sure. They had me sit in a chair finally despite them all being open beforehand. One woman had been free since six o clock by the way. Twenty minutes later I’m still waiting and she walks over and gives us color book. Then walks away again?! Five minutes later I finally get up and leave and they just give me a quick “sorry about that.” Entirely unprofessional an hour wait when you set up an appointment the day before is not okay. I wouldn’t set an appointment up here because it clearly doesn’t mean anything. I would just show up and hope you can get in before an hour passes.

I just finished doing my nails and the result was horrible, first of all the girl never said that the price was going to be $95 just for deep power, secondly I showed her the color I wanted and asked her if she had that color and SHE TOLD ME YES, and it wasn't like that, in third the result was very, very unpleasant, too thick nails and they didn't put color on the tip, so you can see thick white nails, it's horrible. and I asked her if that color was going to stay that way and she said yes, because I asked for the coffin shape she didn't color them as she did if they had been oval, and to complete the color it is not at all similar to the one that I wanted to, and despite the fact that I told her that the color she was putting on me was not very similar, she did not care.I wanted an iridescent pink color and she used a purple with glitter, very very bad service and very disappointed.
