Hi Folks, I was doing an edit of Sibley Plaza, which was on my review list of places visited. It has been on my Google maps app for over a year. It accidentally got deleted! I am working from a cellphone and there is not enough space between edit, delete and post a photo! So, I lost all the information! What I am going to do,is rewrite a Sibley review again. I hope this never happens to anyone! This all happened today 08/19/2019, Thanks for following and bearing with me! Here we go: Sibley Plaza is an old 50s style mall that is being redesigned to 21first century standards. Currently there are only a few stores operating there now. These establishments are: The Family Dollar, a tobacco shop, a restaurant, and Yarmo liqours. There are two other small establishments that are at Sibley Plaza, but I am not familiar with them,so I am only mentioning them because they belong to this place. What I will focus on is the rebuilding of Sibley Plaza! The rebuilding is coming along fast and some stores have brick architecture already! The two new additions to Sibley Plaza will be a gym called" Planet Fitness" and the new market called Aldi's, which is replacing the Cooper's market. Cooper's has not been at Sibley Plaza since October 2017. Aldi's is well on it's way to completion! They are putting flooring down now and it looks like it will be finished between October 20 and November 1st 2019. This will be great for the neighborhood to have a market after nearly two years. This part of Highland Park- St. Paul definitely needs one! I will keep you posted on the progress! Thanks from Matt 🌞!! Here are some photos showing the progression of the redevelopment of Sibley Plaza!👍👍👍. The answer is in, Aldi's will open up on Thursday November 14th 2019! Aldi's is now open and it is great to have it in the neighborhood. It is a very large Aldi's, it has basically the same things as a supermarket, without a lot of major brand labels! Prices for the most part are less expensive than the name brand supermarkets. I will write another review about this Aldi's so I can explain it better! Meanwhile check the store out, and see it for yourself!! The wide aisles just beat Cub foods for easy shopping...
Read moreI shop regularly at the Sibley plaza mainly to visit the Aldies grocery store there and in the past at the Dollar Tree store. The Dollar Tree store has closed recently but I still shop at the Aldi's grocery store there. Usually there is plenty of parking so no problem finding a parking spot. These is not one of the best Aldies around but it usually does the trick most of the time The Dollar Tree was kind of a mess a lot of The time but usually they had the things I needed so no big deal. Sibley plaza also has a liquor store, a Asian restaurant that's not open very often. A planet fitness type place and many other shops most of them I don't shop at. If you are going to shop at Sibley plaza I will warn you that you will have to deal with some homeless folks from time to time, which is pretty typical of most inner city shopping malls. Other than that issue I haven't had too many problems...
Read moreWe have bought three new Hondas at Inver Grove Honda. We love our salesperson there, She is especially good. She knows we're cheap so she does her best to get a deal for us. I won't say your name but her name starts with E. She is a top sales person there. She always is great and she's glad to see us when we come in for service. I really like the last car that I bought there. They gave me five free service appointments to be used within 2 years. I didn't get the fifth one in by the end of the second year and they were nice to extend that nice deal. It was a company car that we bought, the last one, and we saved by buying that rather than a brand new Honda. The service is very good but sometimes I am unsure which service suggestions I should have done and which things are not totally necessary or needed at that time. I always buy Honda CRVs and they have all been wonderfully...
