Pleasant Arena — Local services in Saint Paul

My two kids are both figure skaters. We visited St Paul Figure Skating Club after we moved from CA to MN in 2015. My kids immediately decided to stop searching and join this club. The atmosphere here is encouraging and welcoming. The fellow skaters are competitive and great role models for young skaters. The coaches are professional and all work together as a super strong team. My kids have been in the Academy and private lessons. I was surprised at the number of upgrades that have been made since the early dates I had coached hockey from the first youth's out on the ice until I left for a team bantam for better development that i could give my son just before he entered high-school. How the hell this arena, if you want to call it that, is still standing is a miracle. It's built to insult everything about the logistics of hosting any event other than maybe an open skate for 10-12 people. If you want to play a hockey game here, forget it. There's 0 space for locker rooms and leaves players 0 privacy to get dressed. The staff do their best, but in this case, the architects are to blame for this puss-filled zit of an arena.
