I went today for the first time. I have been vaping since the 2009, using lava tubes and the like at that time.

Something changed with the Vape stores. Either staff got dummer, or the owners do not care about who they hire for sales. Meritocracy is not factored in. I came to this store because.... face it. The stores in the Uptown area, when you ask staff direct questions about the products that they sell.... they have no idea.

This store? Had answers. And a selection of vapes. Coils. Juice. Tanks.

I ended up with 10 bottles of Walrus and Pencil, 5 packs of the Geek Vape coils, and a backup Geek vape tank. The dude knew wth he was talking about. Was not pushy. Did great job trying to get my number in the computer (nope).

And he clued me into that the store is dropping vape products and going all THC.

He said the Owner want to go (the RIGHT FLIPPING way!!!) and produce more of a connoisseur level product, and not the trash coming out of Green Goods or Rise = trichrome less, pinky nail buds that burst into dust if you pinch them. This is garbage level marijuana and WORSE than the Mexican brick weed that the American Growers drove out of the market in the 90's with Indoor and Quality Outdoor genetics.

The most telling part of the entire visit? When I showed him a video of a current Gorilla Cookies Grow (auto, 5 weeks in) he started writing things down and taking NOTES, man.

You'll never see this (and never in the S MPLS stores).

But if you are targeting the connoisseur level product, and it's class of consumers.... people WILL travel for quality. DO the full grows (not just chopping plants at 57 days or so regardless of finish) .... CURE it for more than the ten days those fools do. Either Jar Cure it, or man..... throw it in a Cannatrol and let it slow cure for 3 months or so. You want to create the Fifty Year Old Scotch feel.

He said you got a Commercial License coming in Two weeks. Run Parallel grows (with Photo Periods) and have one dedicated to nothing but growing TREES and Fresh Freeze those for Live Rosin.

I can't tell you enough, Get to know the guys over at Greener Gardens on Penn Ave. Set up a 4x4 Bed to grow with sub irrigation at your store= Show the bomb strains LIVE. Run live video feeds of the grow on social media. Use All of the 'Build a Soil' type products... man.... you could presell the plant (if it's the bomb strains = Bring the Terps Back with Headband, 'any' Diesel, Brue Banner....) while it is in the flowering and curing stages. Video the growth the same way people video an Eagle nest on a pole somewhere.

Let's all rally around a store that wants to highlight true craft growing all way down to hand manicured buds and jar Curing at the minimum.

Set up a few Rosin Pressing Stations for people to bring in fresh Bubble Bag hash to press. Greener Gardens does it :).

I have this happening in an Ac Infinity 4x4 tent, 5 weeks from seed, in 15 Gallon Fabric pots. These are in Auto Pot XXL trays (self-watering WITH the Air dome in the bottom of the pots, 25 Gallon reservoir). I am also going the 'Build-A-Soil' way (I told him to write down the brand and YouTube channel) with a Build-A-Soil '3.0' mix that they sell. True Living Soil, with red wigglers and euro night crawlers added, and all of the fun Root Wise amendments. 100% regenerative soil. And you just give it the soil the best natural amendments.

They said they want the connoisseur level customer's people.... let's put pressure on...

5 Stars for the juice, -2 stars for the possibly permanent scar behind my lips. I use an outdated version of an Aspire product, and they carry the coils so I always pick up a few (in this case 5) to go along with the juice. If you like tobacco flavored juices with some sweetness, the crazy cowboy and the chai are really good. The chai is my new favorite juice and it's half the price I pay at the bodega a mile from my house.

The main guys there know where everything is, what everything is, could probably get you to spend a few hundred on some giant contraption that I personally find to be ridiculous. I would never buy anything other than the juices, but that's personal preference.

What is not personal preference is getting badly burned. I went in and bought a 5 pack of coils, and the guy - not one of the regulars - told me they had a different, newer version than I have been buying for a year or two. The problem was he didn't know what was different about it. I used it, primed it, and it burned the hell out of my lips. I used it for the weekend, tapping the button and taking the smallest of hits. When I got home, I found out the new coils I bought were to use with high nic content juices and nic salts. I had an inch long scar behind my lip that bled/peeled off/bled/repeat for about 10 days. Not happy. I'll still go there for juice, but the staff members who are new and young don't speak the same language as me (metaphorically). All I'm saying is do your homework and go in there knowing exactly what you're getting.

Loses star for the following... Too many people asking for money I had one person following me out of there to a bus stop. I didn't know either to call 9-1-1 or punch the guy in the throat and run like hell.

Too Pricey for Wishdotcom Items. Some of their batteries and coils can be obtained free(Pay shipping) on Wishdotcom or other apps. not sure why anyone would want to buy 50 dollar coils for their 60dollar Mod kit that is only worth 30 dollars online.

"you don't know jack" the person i talked to was not very smart. I wish they would stop hiring their friends and start hiring people who know what they are selling....
