Rio Vista Village Apartments — Local services in Saint Petersburg

I have lived at Rio Vista for almost 10 years now. I have seen a lot of people come and go out of the office staff and only a few good ones! Currently Luciano and Gina have listened to my concerns and have been able to address them with such professionalism and empathy.

•The cost of living anywhere in St. Pete is high, but for those who cannot find a house just yet the complex is dog friendly(although lately they haven't refilled the doggy poo bags) there are at least multiple stations to throw away the bags you bring around on your own. The complex is also very child friendly lol. I see the kids often playing together outside/knocking on doors to see if a friend can play. Whenever I see the lively crowds at the pool on those hot summer days they all seem to get along well.

•My unit personally hasn't had any issues with pests but thankfully they spray once a month and will take action if something does get bad.

•The vacuum/air machine has been broken for years or at least looks like it but they did hook up a good spray nozel to the water hose at the car wash area.

*I left a review 8 years ago and didn't want to just pretend like I never did, so here's that one too lol This is the first (out of three) apartments on 4th street that my husband and I have finally renewed a lease at. We absolutely love the staff! Cynthia, is the sweetest and truly cares about the people. We thankfully haven't had any issues that couldn't be solved. They keep your apartment clean! New air filter and spray for bugs every month! It's also very quiet for the area, and it's perfectly located for shopping, grocery...

I currently live here and I can’t wait to move they have a lot of new maintenance man every week that have access to your home . The roach problem is ridiculous they have a pest guy come every month but he don’t kill the roaches he just make them sick .. They also had bed bugs in some apartments the garbage is crazy it’s always over flowing. The girls in the office don’t know what their doing .. The roaches is just out of hand one lady told me she use her own pest control because the guy they have is just getting the complex for their money . The kids don’t have anywhere to play so they’re constantly playing in the street it’s a tragedy waiting to happen .. the washer and dryers are 1.50 and they’re always broke . I applied for my apartment at the end of February, and was fortunate enough that Cinthia Perez, the leasing agent had a unit for me, available in May, She helped me through the process of getting my application approved and walking me through the steps. I have not moved in 17 years as I was in a unit closer to DTSP, but the property was sold and I had until June to find another place. I had not done this in many years and I appreciate all the help I got from her, and the hard working property manager, who never stops moving as well. All of my questions were answered and all calls returned every time. I am so very much looking forward to the move to my new home next month, and if things go as they have so far, I am sure it will be a great and stress free move, well as easy as one can be?
