The Vitamin Shoppe — Local services in Salem

This is my go-to location for this store, but the last 3 times I've gone in, they've had less and less stock of my bottle of vitamins, which has been a complete bummer for me when I need them on the spot and can't wait for shipping. It's also always a little awkward in there, nothing against the revolving door of associates, because they're all typically nice/friendly, it's just the atmosphere, how wide open the store is set up, how high the ceilings are but how tiny walking space is between aisles. I've always had a good experience with this supplement store. I'm able to walk in, grab what I need, and leave. I've never had an employee try to really sell me Vitamin Shoppe's own supplement line, Bodytech. That's what I love about this store. If I choose to buy a name brand protein or other supplement, I can buy it without having to worry about some employee giving me a lecture on why I should buy the Bodytech brand instead. GNC on the other hand, that's all I get if I try to buy anything that isn't a GNC product. I highly recommend this store over GNC which is at the mall right...

The guys here are so incredibly helpful, but leave you alone if you know what you need. One guy, I forget his name, was really nice to my 2 year old daughter and played a little hide and seek with her, which she loved. He helped me choose Syntha-6 edge, which I didn't know about having fewer carbs than the regular syntha-6. I got both huge tubs on BOBO 50% sale, so the 2nd one ended up being really cheep.
