Horrible. BUYER BEWARE. Short Version: 2 refrigerators = 1 dead after 6 months, 1 worked on 3 times in less than 6 months. Treated like we are the problem.
Only days after our 6 month warranty ran out the recently manufactured stainless door-in-door LG stopped cooling. We couldn't even get an appointment scheduled without driving to their store and giving $80. This is after we spent almost $1500
You can see corrosion through the back plate of our refrigerator. I took a picture and showed it to another repair service. They said that I will probably be looking at another $300 at least because sounds like the coolant drained.
I felt like Judy's was irritated that I was calling.
We bought 2 refrigerators for our family from them and my father has had his worked on 3 times in less than 6 months. Over $1500 and feel like we got junk. Just went and bought a brand new fridge. Never going near that place again.
IMAGES: I removed the back metal cover so I could take better pictures. The refrigerator is being scrapped so I attached these so you can see what I was talking about. Ridiculous for a fairly new fridge. And horrible customer service.
I don't mind paying for the repairs. But it was less than a month after warranty and we couldn't get a repair scheduled until prepayment and then it would be several days out. They could have at least worked with us to schedule first.
EDIT 11/15/18: Found the receipt after I purchased a new fridge and this one was removed by Kelly's. The refrigerator was purchased in May. Not April as mentioned by company. Sadly I cannot upload any more pictures to show visual proof.
The call the owner mentions in response saying I never called back is untrue. I was told they needed $80 at their store. Fine, my father is retired and has time to come by. I work. Anna said she would talk to whomever does the repairs and figure out a time to come by. I figured that means they would let me know. No call back from them. And that is the kicker. Everything is our problem. The $80 was all they seemed to care about and I don't know how bad the repair bill would have been. The reason this whole review came about is because of the lack of response and effort on their part. Now I am being attacked by them saying I didn't pay my father for the fridge. How do you know what we do? The first refridgerator was paid in full to him. I bought it off of him because it was too large for his kitchen. It is "WE" because we are a close family. My mother passed away 2 weeks ago. This was the last thing any of us needed to be dealing with. And for that I am very sorry if he was short tempered when he came in after the lack of response for days.
My refridgerator was out for days. I know he was upset because a lot of money was spent and we were treated like we couldn't be trusted for another measly $80 that was coming. Maybe it was a mixup but i never received any attempted calls.
What kind of rotten business treats upset customers with accusations and petty attacks?

I am not happy but I will reconnect the washer and hope that it will complete a cycle without wasting clean water again. Because itâs failure to fill-up properly. Itâs unusually Noisy, As if itâs costly trying to re-calibrate itâs water level. I informed them of all the above, they didnât seem to concerned on there end but I am. I signed the contact because I was okay with the 6 month Warranty well the thing didnât even last 1 hours. As of today Judyâs receives one star, because I canât get a second opinion from a certified technician without voiding the current six months warranty , and because the washer didnât pass the first washing cycle. The washer broke down February 4, 2025 we called they said the repair-man can come out but not soon they said if they canât figure out whatâs wrong with it that they could replace it with one in stock the repair man came out. He said he fixed it. He left within 10 minutes after he left the washer broke again. We called him and let him know. It doesnât work is doing the same thing they said to order the part was going be be couple months but they have one in stock that they can trade out, they brought us a new one on February 14 Valentineâs Day they delivered it the washing machine looks exactly the same on the outside when you open it itâs only a 35 inch washer. Ours was a 48. We went to hook it up and guess what itâs broke too. I called them and told them that we paid the money for all this and the warranty and Iâm about ready just to go buy a brand new one at Loweâs and I want my money back. They told me they would have to charge me a resell fee of $75 Iâve never heard of that and it wasnât in my contract thatâs after I already had to pay the $59 for them to come out to fix the machine. I would not suggest you buy any items from the store Judyâs appliances sounds like itâs just a big hack and itâs a run around. Iâm gonna let the better business Borough know about them. Iâm also running a bad review here and Iâm also gonna send it on the other page right on yelp people need to know about Judyâs.
