ATTN BRIDES: I worked with Roth's for the catering, some of the florals and the cake at my wedding in February 2018 and it was the best decision I ever made. The food was delicious and the customer service was top notch.
Monica in the catering department is such a gem. I met with her months before the big day to lay out a menu and learned early on that Roth's takes care of every single detail. The details you don't think about, but are important. Monica and her team knew the right questions to ask me so they could take care of nearly everything. They were instrumental in setting up the reception venue and included each charge in the final quote so I knew what to expect.
The taste testing before the big day was so fun - my husband and I felt like royalty! Their food is incredibly fresh and delicious. My guests raved about the food and alcohol selection. Roth's made it incredibly easy to pick both the food and alcohol because as a grocery store as well, their options seem endless. Monica was also available at the drop of a hat. Any question was answered in less than 24 hours.
Monica and her staff had mine and my groom's plates all ready too so we didn't have to wait in line and could use precious minutes to inhale our dinners. After listening to countless couples talk about their inability to eat during their weddings, this detail was truly awesome. Another sweet detail is Monica and her crew took a photo using the Polaroid cameras at the reception and left it as a little momento. I love things like that!
Ann in the bakery did such a beautiful (and delicious) job with the wedding cake. My groom and I had a three-tier cake just for us and did sheet cakes for the rest of the guests. Though we each only had one bite of the fluffy cake before being whisked off to greet guests, it was heavenly. The cake had texture on it, which is so trendy right now, and for good reason. It photographed beautifully.
Laurie in the floral department added gorgeous florals to the textured cake Ann created as well as garlands to the head table at the reception that really pulled the space together.
As if working with Roth's couldn't get any sweeter, if you work with all three of their departments, they offer a 10% discount. As a local business, they offer incredible customer service, delicious food, beautiful flowers and yummy sweets. I would recommend Roth's Fresh Markets...
Read moreCame in today and ordered a create your own sandwich. The guy at the register (Scott A.) was really nice and helpful. As my husband and I sit down for dine-in, to wait for our number to be called.. we see a lady get her food delivered to her table and they took her ticket. Next is our turn, our number is called and the girl is standing halfway between the eating area and the back of the coffee station. My husband gets up and meets her halfway to give her our PAID ticket, when she continues to walk past him and walked over to our table, holding onto the food. Doesn't put it down, but rather asks my BLACK husband if it's paid for? So what you're telling me is that if you're a WHITE older lady, and not a 40 year old BLACK man, you'll get your food delivered to your table, told to have a great day AND you don't get harassed or belittled as to whether or not you've paid; even when showing a PAID receipt? That sounds wonderful! I wish we wouldve gotten that treatment. (Eye roll) Even though my husband tried to give her the PAID ticket, that clearly wasn't enough for her. She felt strongly in her heart that 1. We're broke? 2. Maybe we're not broke but tried to get free food? Or maybe it's #3. All of the above. What goes through the brain of a 20 something year old girl with no skills except how to make a sandwich, that qualifies her to stereotype? Maybe you don't actually need a skill for that. It could be PURE IGNORANCE! You will not get our business, or any more of our friends & families business as well. I am going to the news for discrimination on this one. Oh wait, that's not a shocker right?Because that's what BLACK people do. (Insert...
Read moreGreat shopping experience every time. Roth’s is a bit on the pricier side, especially if you're used to WinCo's or Walmart's low prices; however, the service here is exceptional. Since I am so used to long check-out lines at Walmart when I shop there, I thought it would be interesting to time the process. With the help of the stopwatch on my iPhone I calculated that one day it took 32 minutes from the moment I first queued up in line to the second I was handed my receipt and left the check-out stand. Plus, I had a hand basket, not a full shopping cart or two. That would never be allowed happen to a customer at a Roth’s. The moment the line gets to be two or three deep they immediately open up another check stand. The attention to detail does not stop during check-out either.
Once I was given a free flat of blue-berries because the produce manager thought that they were over-ripe and so removed them from display. I inquired about the missing blueberries when I came back later on that same day to purchase a carton or two and couldn't find them, he mentioned that he felt they were not in peak condition and gave them to me for free. They were ripe, indeed. but not spoilt, and so that night after dinner my family and I had the most sumptuous blueberry milkshakes known to mankind.
Great store, phenomenal customer service that’s second to none, fantastic deli and bakery with a wide variety of upper-end products (an olive bar, for example), but you will pay a premium penny for...
