Target — Local services in Salem

My daughter was in Target and saw the Sleeping Charmander pillow buddy. I was not with her at the time, and she really wanted it, so I went on Target.com and bought it to be picked up at my local Target when I got out of work. The online price was $52.99. I found out later that the in store price was $29.99. So I paid $22 more all because I did online to be picked up in a few hours at the store. This is disgusting to me and Target should be ashamed for duping customers in this manner. Not only will I never go to Target again, but I will never use my Target card again and will certainly never recommend Target to anyone. However, I will tell people about my experience and how target.com scams people by raising the prices for the convenience of buying an item and picking it up at the store. Target is no better than Amazon. I'm done with big stores and will only buy from smaller stores now and in the future. Thanks for the valuable and costly...

I always shop here , place got renovated and looks so much nicer and organized. The only reason I gave it a 3 star because customer service was horrible today. So I was shopping at the baby isle and saw a sign that says "get $20 gift card if you buy $100 or more worth of baby item" so that's what I did. During checkout the cashier rang everything then during payment I asked about the $20 gift card to let him know. That we I seen the sign all over the baby isle. This guy looked at my receipt and said " well I don't see it on here." with an attitude. So rude! I know what I saw, I didn't buy $100 worth of baby item for nothing. I've been shopping at this Target in Salem, MA (227 Highland Ave) since it opened in 2003 and every experience has been smooth, pleasant, and professional. The store is always kept clean, items are easy to find, there are always at least 3-4 employees on the floor to help with finding merchandise and answering questions, and the layout is very open and inviting. They did an excellent job with the store remodeling in 2018, though I miss the Pizza Hut Express and snack bar! Having said that, I'm a loyal customer of this Target, and as long as I'm in the area, I'll continue to make this location my first choice for necessities. BTW, Chantelle is a great cashier and all-around person! Friendly to a tee and always willing to make a shopper...
