Working with Rosie’s Event Center on Iron and its owner for a bridal shower was largely disappointing. I scheduled a time to tour the venue and drove 2.5 hours from Kansas City. Upon my arrival, there were no employees present. I waited for approximately 30 minutes and then contacted the owner. She forgot we had a meeting scheduled and was hardly apologetic over the phone. Approximately all email correspondence took almost a week for a reply. She called me at 6:45 PM the night before my event (and approximately 19 hours before my event was set to start) to inform me that she had double booked the space with a wedding and we would be unable to use one of the rooms we paid for in the venue and access to the on-site kitchen would be hindered. When we arrived for set up, the linens were not completely ironed/set up on the tables as was promised. The owner had her large SUV blocking the building. She seemed shocked when we asked her to move it so that our elderly guests were able to have a close entrance and our location was able to be spotted by guests. Extra chairs for the wedding ceremony later were stored in our event room. The owner walked through the event space wearing very unprofessional attire. Members of the double booked bridal party were walking through our event when they were arriving with Starbucks drinks/food orders while we were opening gifts. There was vomit on the sidewalk outside of the front door (While not a direct fault of Rosie’s, it was unfortunate.) On a positive note, the owner did let us borrow her computer when ours died and offered a to cover the price of our set up time. I had to remind the owner to refund this, but she ended up doing so within four days of notifying me of the...
Read moreThis venue was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was on point. The place was spotless and so well taken care of. You can really tell they put a lot of effort into making sure everything looks and feels perfect. What I loved the most was the customer service. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile for us. It honestly felt like they cared about us just as much as we cared about our event. One thing that really stood out was how thoughtful they are about the little details. Every restroom was fully stocked with toilet paper (which is not always the case at venues!), they had changing tables for babies, wipes for little ones, and even sanitary products available. Those small touches made such a big difference and showed just how much they care about their guests’ comfort. The whole process was smooth, organized, and so easy thanks to their amazing team. They made sure everything went exactly the way we hoped, and that kind of support means the world when you’re planning something special. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re looking for a venue that’s clean, beautiful, family-friendly, and run by the kindest people, this is definitely it. We left feeling so happy and grateful, and I know we’ll be coming back again. Truly the best...
Read moreWe had the best experience with Julie, Owner of Rosie's on Iron. I booked the venue with her. She was right on time for us to view her beautiful building. I had several questions about miscellaneous items, and she contacted me immediately with answers to my questions. Both phone and email.
"Rosie's On Iron" was excellent. Julie was extremely helpful and went out of her way to make my granddaughters wedding wonderful!! The place was clean and friendly. Location is excellent with a lot of parking for your guest. We also hired Julie as our photographer. I would recommend them to anyone for any venue. You cannot go wrong Rosie's on Iron for your venue and using Julie as your photographer is a must!! If I could give them 20 stars I definitely would!! Thank you, Julie, for a wonderful day!!"
