Laurel West Shopping Center — Local services in Salinas

Laurel West Shopping Center has a reasonably good Vietnamese restaurant in a strip mall, nothing fancy. The Vietnamese restaurant restaurant is a combination of Vietnamese and Chinese. There is also a Big Shell station and a Kmart. The Kmart does not open till 8 a.m. in the morning as I found out when I really needed to get something and hoped I could get it there at about 7:30 and the store was not yet open definitely a bit inconvenient most of the other stores there are small stores on convenience stores such as cigar stores smoke shops Etc. Sonic was my stop, the last 2 times I came I was shorted food I paid for and this time I ordered 4 specials and a cheeseburger, only got 4 total, glad I checked. When I told the drive thru person they returned saying they were out of specials, I had to ask for a refund for 1 full special meal, it was never offered, they took my money and would have let me drive away 1 whole meal short plus a cheeseburger short. They didn't care that they were stealing from customer at all.
