Comic Monstore — Local services in Salisbury

The store owner Ric discussed a deal with me for a Pokemon Topps stickers Box. We agreed on me sending it first and then once he received it he would send payment over.

He accused me all along of trying to scam him even though I provided refs in which he said he was too busy to message, and he himself asked me after I said I wasn't interested in the deal to send him one box so he could see if I was legit.

I thought that Comic Monstore being an established store with a good reputation, I could trust to send my product first and delay payment until he received it but my gosh I was wrong! You can see yourselves how condescending he was when he was talking to me.

He has essentially received my product, accused me of scamming even though he has confirmed that he has my item in his possession and then blocked me.

He claimed to of gotten my IP address which was extremely discomforting and accused me of scamming even though I sent him the product first. I have been scammed by a shop owner who thought be could pull a fast one just because I'm not from the states.

I can't believe that a store owner of an established business would act like this and then block me to avoid all further contact.

Updating my review to reflect my personal ignorance, and the store Owner’s honest intentions.

As I stated in the initial review I was new to TCG and can admit that him saying there were no boosters in the opened decks may have went over my head. He never mentioned anything about it being his personal collection tho. He just said he didn’t get any Lorcana product initially so all his singles and packs came from trades. I agreed on the price he set anyway, figuring it was a good deal since he and my friends say Lorcana was scarce and hard to find.

But when I went to Collectors Cove (Salisbury) even four days ago, they had 20+ decks that were wrapped with no booster selling for $10. So obviously I’d be upset because I got the exact same product 2 miles away at twice the price.

However, as he said you find the same product anywhere online, it would be upwards of $35-40 (with booster.)

The owner was nice, and I was super happy to finally have my own decks. In hindsight I was just bummed that I found another place that sold them cheaper, but...

We just came in and first off we were given no attention, they cared more about the magic game they were playing, when talking about selling a couple of comics, before even looking at them he was telling me that the prices were wrong. I have done extensive research and no what they are worth but it's not about the price it's the fact that he just blew me off and wouldn't even look at my comics. How can advertise you buy comics if you will not even look at them. I drove an hour and a half just to check out this shop, while the selection is large the atmosphere is terrible. If you plan on coming to this shop expect no enthusiasm or really any attention at all from the workers. I could go on for hours but iv said enough, the store isn't worth...
