Michaels — Local services in Salisbury

Came to Michael's for supply for my Nephews baby shower. My wife was in charge of doing the center pieces. Even though they have very little on this subject anymore as an employee told us this, it was still full of things we found very useful. Staff was walking around trying to help customers anyway they could, it was a Sunday so the lines were long but felt the did a excellent job at check out keeping the lines moving in a timely fashion. Very clean and organized, happy about that. The only reason there was not a 5th star is because the answer given to us about not having baby shower supplies is because there a smaller store and the bigger ones have much more stuff. Which to me personally is a somewhat acceptable answer, as I feel they should still have SOME products to do with baby showers and they have NOTHING at all. Plus the bag had a hole in it. Not a big deal but still a negative. All in all its a very good Michael's, the lady at the checkout even tried to to find things to help. Leaving the register to go to a isle that she thought might have something we could use. Sorry for the bad engilsh and awful wording in this review at times, My excuse is this is being done on the fly. Michael's will have most of what your looking for, long as it's not for baby showers at this...

Customer service sucked! No one would helpe find graphite paper. I asked if someone could look it up in their system and see if they indeed even had any. The lady talked to another lady via her little Bluetooth device and asked if they carried it. She answered that if they had it it would be somewhere down one aisle and take a left and see if it's there. Needless to say, it wasn't here! After walking the entire store without ANY help I just lefty dull basket in the aisle and went to Hobby Lobby. I'm so glad o did! They had the graphite paper, and tooke right to it. Their canvasses wer $2 cheaper and lots of other stuff was as well. So Hobby Lobby got the $83 sale that day....amh...

Enjoyed the day with my sister for sure. The store is huge with a wide variety of things. Flowers were really at a bare minimum but in their defense...we did put off untill the nineth hour to look for flowers!!🙃 There was an exceptionally helpful young lady that pointed us in the direction we needed to go upon entering the store.The check out process was very pleasant and the young lady who rang up our purchase was very friendly and helpful even though she had mentioned that she was new to the area....she will be a great asset...
