Rude customer service person (Yvette) in women's apparel. There were three customers ahead of me in the line. The sales person was so slow and chatty until the couple in front of me became annoyed and left. Finally after the discussion about her name and her twin sister's name was over she began with the person in front of me, still chatting. She rang up the purchase the woman paid with her BOA card and had the receipt in her hand when the salesperson finally asked her if she had a Belks card and how she could have saved more even on today's purchase. The lady told her that she did not live near a Belk at which time she was told she could shop on line. "It would only take 5 minutes, give me your receipt and we will fix you right up". At this point, I asked if she would just please check me out and then process her application because my family was waiting for me at the car. She told me that she was not done with her customer and held the receipt and the ladies card up it my face "See, I am still working with this customer" as if I was both deaf and blind and had not stood there on my cane to witness the whole exchange. Someone needs to give her an attitude adjustment as well as an in service on customer care. I left without what I had intended to purchase and will not return to that store ever. I will shop on line or cancel my card and shop Macy or Dillards. So...

I went in there last night looking to buy diamond earrings okay diamond earrings I sat there for 10-15 minutes nobody came to help me so I went and asked the lady she said she would get someone to help me so I took my daughter to the restroom we came back stood there for another 5-10 minutes nobody came so we'd he started to leave. And as we are leaving the lady asked at anybody help you I said no she said well he's on his way right now I said I got to go I can't sit here for 20-30 minutes looking to buy diamond earrings and nobody help me. So maybe I wasn't dressed to impressed so maybe they thought I didn't have the money but at the time my wallet is fat so I was going to spend lots of money there but they lost it they lost the sale they dropped the ball. So I just called the Belk in Salisbury just now to speak with the manager on duty and they picked up the phone and they hung it up Hung up the phone on me a guy wants to spend several thousand dollars on diamond earrings. Belk what are you doing what is your problem you guys ain't going to be in business much longer and I will never come back to any one of your stores ever again you lost several thousand dollars worth of sales just like that...

Even if you have their credit card and earn the points it takes a lot of spending to earn a reward. Customer service is okay. The first time I took a dress in for a return the sales person tried to tell me she couldn't take the dress because my daughter had wore it for a couple of hours. After the manager comes over he tells me that they'll take it back just this one time. Today I was returning two dresses that had been for my daughter. When I entered I was told any register would be able to help me. I wait in line at one for about 5-7 minutes only to have this girl tell me that they aren't supposed to take items back from other departments. I go to kids and she informs me those registers aren't even open. I told her what the other girl said and she told me that's not policy. Every time I go in there I always get upset about something. I go there only when I'm looking for a nice dress for my daughter. So I only go twice...
