Stitchin' Post Gifts — Local services in Salisbury

Years passed I really enjoyed this store. Pricing of items are variable. Its kinda hard to find anything under $10. I realize its boutique like but it really limits the clientele that can afford to shop here on a regular basis. They do have some unique items you may not find in most retail stores. From a customer service stand point it was just "middle of the road." Someone did say hello when I walked in, I was there long enough to go around the store more than once. Staff didn't acknowledge me again until I checked out. Also during my entire visit staff spoke loudly about a concern that another customer had recently. Yesterday 11/08/2024 After going to Mac Tabby Cat Cafe I saw this store across from the street and saw that they sold Sanuks. Me and my friend walked over there with our drinks and some pastries, we were walking around, got some bird houses, jewelry, and looking for the sanuks they said they had. While looking for the sanuks my friend pointed out they were zooming in at us with the cameras and even when we were looking at the ring sizes the lady was behind us making sure we didn’t steal anything when clearly the other lady was zooming in on us. This establishment created a completely uncomfortable atmosphere as my friend and I browsed around the store. The lady at the front desk was continuously watching us on the security camera as if we were committing some sort of crime by looking around. I would understand flipping through security cameras to keep an overall watch of the store, but we were the only people in the whole store she was keeping such close watch of. As two women of color we felt very unwelcome, and as someone who was very close to purchasing something from the shop, I will not be returning and would not recommend for others...
