Be cautious, may not honor any returns. Some weeks ago, I purchased a romper from Chielo Vintage as they had a pop up shop at the Millcreek artist market. I tried it on in the restroom at the market and it didn’t fit (my torso is too tall for the garment). When I went back to the sales woman, who was extremely nice, I told her the situation and asked to return it. She totally understood and graciously called her boss and asked how to provide a refund. Her boss said that they do not give refunds and scolded the sales woman saying that she should know this and then hung up on her. The sales woman looked ashamed and embarrassed. I told her it was fine; swallowed the $38 and went home with the romper I can’t wear. But that interaction has stuck with me and wanted to share in case others have had similar issues with one of the managers at the store. No one should treat their sale associates with such attitude and disregard. I’m a registered nurse, a mom, and I’ve worked in retail many times. Treat your employees with kindness and respect. Also, the return I was making should have been honored. In Utah, a seller must disclose their return policy to the consumer prior to a sale. A failure to provide a conspicuous Return and Refund Policy means the seller must honor refunds and exchanges. Chielo Vintage had no policy on display nor any that the sales woman could find or knew about. And no return policy was even verbally described to me.
