I really liked the classes, heat and instructors here! If you are looking for yoga as fitness, cardio and/or weight loss—this place is great. If you are looking more for yoga for a meditation and to work on postures, this isn’t the studio for it. The classes are short, which is great for people on the go but they offer no longer classes for people who want to go deeper into their practice. Part of the short classes and why they are short is the humidity increase in the hot room. Standard hot yoga classes are hotter but not as humid as at this studio. The increase in humidity does make you sweat and gets your heart rate up so that 45 mins is plenty. Great variety of classes but the studio itself is lacking amenities. The shower has very little warm water (and no soap sometimes). For the two weeks I visited, the bathrooms were not very clean and sometimes out of supplies like paper towels. There was not a water cooler or fountain that I saw easily accessible and there are no towels to rent if you forgot one. I liked the instructors and people a lot! This is a great studio if you want fast yoga for fitness purposes. The sculpt style classes were fun and they had a good variety of weights. I find this studio offers not much difference than other hot yoga studios other than shorter classes and increased humidity. The people there seem to have a very nice little community of supporting each other which might be really attractive for those who need to stay motivated. The intro trial is a fair price to try the variety of classes. Bottom line: Good hot studio if you want short hot yoga fitness style classes. Not great if you want to learn about postures, work on form, or have a deeper yoga...
Read moreFYI: this is a hot yoga studio. I was (pleasantly) surprised to learn that at my first class. I guess I'm blind.
I looked around for a yoga studio for a little while, after not really having done any yoga since 2019. This studio is super great - the instructors give clear directions, give personalized feedback after a class, and are generally pretty cool people. I've taken a few different classes, and as basically a beginner, found that there are several classes I can participate in, beyond the one specifically marked for beginners.
Topaz is a great fundamentals class that seems to be more or less the same routine each time, working on balancing, flexibility, breathing, and getting used to movement. Diamond is a more relaxed (but still intense) deep stretch class run with a voice over and an instructor to demonstrate. Krystallos is a core/pilates-type class that is pretty brutal on the untrained core, but enjoyable enough that I will probably do it again. Tiger Eye is a killer half circuit/half yoga cardio class that pushed me to my max.
I'm sure the rest of the classes are great, too, but I'm going to stick to these for now! With several timeslots in the evening, there is a class I can take about 5+ days per week. They also have a few morning classes if you start work later than I do! The intro $30 for 20 days is absolutely worth it - try out as many different classes as you can. If you don't own a mat, forget a towel, or leave your water at home, you can buy these essentials from the studio for a moderate price. You're definitely a captive market, but it's not too outrageous. I picked up an extra sweat towel on my second class and haven't regretted it.
I'll be coming here...
Read moreArrichion is different than any other yoga studio I have ever been to. The heat is the first thing that set it apart for me: not only does it feel like a relaxing sauna when you walk in to the studio (hello, spa day), but it helps me to stretch more effectively. The classes are all so different and offer something for everyone: from a power flow that gets your heart pumping (Bloodstone), to yoga with weights for strength building (MMA), to a deep stretch like no other (Diamond), it’s truly a full body workout.
The staff is extremely friendly and the studio is welcoming to all bodies - whether you’ve been practicing for years or can’t touch your toes, this space is for everyone. If you have questions about a pose, the instructors will help you after class. The encouragement and motivation has done more than just help my physical practice — it quickly became a home away from...
