For those of you old enough, do you remember how good "The Pizza Oven" and "Gepettoes" were? They had such great food, too bad they are no longer. Pizza Hut, Domino's, and Little Ceasars 😋 were really good at one time. . . Little Ceasars sit down on 1300 E. by the U of U area on the NW corner was great. You could even buy it by a large slice with a drink for $1.20. Everything was delicious! All that melted cheese, topings, and bread crust (best flavored doe) were to die for. Some of these restaurants are either gone now or have had multiple changes to their ownership, management, and services and have reduced or altered their ingredients from good quality to poor quality. Well, I believe it when it comes to Little Ceasars... Their pizza doe is like bisquet bread, hard and dry most of the time, and flavorless. There is nothing about their pizza that is like before or in otherword good. This, of course, doesn't mean all locations are this way, but I can name 4 of them that are. I'm speechless at this point, which I'm sure the reader is glad at this stage. Nothing like spending more $$ for less everything and then seeing that new 2024 commercial with George Kittle playing all the characters and seeing that beautiful pizza slice with all that melted cheese streching as its being pulled away. Doesn't it look good? You bet It does, but good luck ever buying one that looks like this one being advertised. I've also noticed their staff is socially enept and rude. We'll, you'll all be replaced with robotic kitchens soon "make-bake-n-serve" as it ejects out a slot in the wall. Maybe it will be better in every...
Read morePoor management decision. I work in Salt Lake and did a pre-order pick up for my job on 5/3/24. I live in Tooele and did another pre-order pick up for a program that I support on 5/6/24. I mistakenly, by all common errors, accidents that happens in life did not see, that I had Sugar House listed on my app still. So, I went to the Tooele location and got 6 peps (nothing special) and told the manager there my error. That manager told me that if it is just common pizza that can be sold still that had no specialty made to it, then just call them to apologize and they would refund the order after the pick up time expires. I called Sugar House and "apologized" for the error and asked to cancel the pre pick up order since I have pizza now. The rep there said nope, it's not our fault, and we can't resell 6 standard peps anymore. I did not argue because it was my fault. However, the moral issue is, they charged me for pizza that I did not receive. In the world of purchase and exchange, a person cannot pay for something and get nothing in return. There was no option for store credit, pay a fine, or pick up another day. Just that "it's your fault"! This location keeps the money and pizza in error and in return I get to leave this Poor rating to warn others. Poor Manager mean poor...
Read moreUpdate: I now am working through some food poisoning. I ate half a slice before realizing the uncooked portion. I have filed a complaint with the SLC county health department.
This is the THIRD time in a row that I have had drastically undercooked pizza/bread over the course of a few weeks. The fist time i took it back and they traded it out for a fresh on they had just finished. That one was also still doughy. Like not even questionably undercooked. the following two purchases have been the same, but was unable to return.
Be warned the outsides look done and normal...the centers are chewy, soft dough.
First time, I figured it was a one off even with the second replacement. Second time was annoying. Third time is pretty inexcusable. I get they cant stick fingers in there to check it, but I'm sure there's a way to know if the pizza is done on the inside or not.
Will not be going back for a fourth...
