⭐⭐⭐ Three Stars – Because I Love Them… But Also, WHY!? Let’s talk about the chaotic treasure hunt that is TJ Maxx/HomeGoods. You walk in with hopes, dreams, and maybe the idea of finding a candle. You walk out with a 9-foot ceramic giraffe, three bags of gluten-free snacks, a $5.99 journal that says ā€œLive Laugh Loveā€ in glitter, and absolutely no candle. That’s the TJ/HG magic, baby. The aisles? Oh, you mean those narrow, anxiety-inducing pathways built specifically for maxed-out carts to face off in a slow-motion jousting match while you awkwardly suck in your stomach and pretend that helps. Pro tip: Don’t even try to navigate around one of those employee pushed restock carts unless you enjoy playing a round of Real-Life Frogger. Selection? Impeccable. Random? Beyond. Like, why is there a yoga mat next to a cheese board next to a framed picture of a flamingo in a beret? Nobody knows. Nobody asks. You just accept it. And for the love of all things Maxxinista, dig deeper than the first row—because the good stuff is always hiding behind a decorative bowl of questionable use. And then… there’s checkout. Oh sweet summer child. You thought you’d just leave? Adorable. Pack a lunch, text your loved ones, and prepare to wait behind someone arguing about the price of a scented pumpkin. But don’t worry—there’s an entire aisle of impulse-buy nonsense to tempt you for the next 26 minutes. Did you need dog treats, a passport holder, and a Himalayan salt lamp? No. Will you buy them? Absolutely. All that said—still a banger of a store. Just bring patience, stretchy pants, and a sense of humor.

This is by far for me the best TJ Maxx location. The store is clean, well lit, organized and they have more selections. They carry anything for men, women and kids. They have a wide area for clothing, luggages, colognes, skin care products, makeups, kitchen and bath items, shoes, cooking utensils, cooking oils and spices, pastas, cookies, chips, chocolates, workout accessory items, bedroom accessories, photo frames, home decors, lights and fixtures, furnitures, area rugs, pillows, beddings, towels, blankets, items for your pets, jewelries, gift items and gift wrappers and they always have a section for seasonal items. They also have snacks and chilled soda so you can have a quick bite when you get exhausted of too much shopping šŸ˜„ The staff here are very friendly and helpful too. You can always see them busy stacking things up but are always happy to help customers. They have maybe 10 or so cashiers so line is moving even when it gets crowded on holidays. They have huge parking which is shared by other business in the vicinity.

The woman called TAMI in HOME GOODS gave me the worst costumer Service I ve recieved in my life. She was dude, disrespectful and non emphatic to the problem I had. I brought my puzzle glued and she throw it making me loose more than the pieces that were already missing. Scream to me for no reason, Tellling I was not getting a free puzzle which I had already paĆd for… was only looking for help no how can I finish it. Then she throw me the box of a new one with bad attitude making me cry and making me feel I was begging for something

Racist Employee. It is very sad that I have to write this review. My wife loves to shop at this store and drives 30 minutes to get there. A while back an employee embarrassed her and made a racial comment to her at the cash register loud enough for several people to hear. Her mother asked to speak with a manager and an assistance said that they were not available and that there was nothing that she could do. I called the next day (Sunday) and spoke with another manager assistance. I explained what happened and she was very surprised, she said that she will let the managers know on the Monday meeting that they were going to have and that I would get a phone call. Two weeks passed by and nothing happened. I called the store and spoke with Micha a manager on the HomeGoods side, he was also really surprised and said that he did not know anything about the situation. He said that he would investigate getting an apology card for my wife and a gift card and that he would address this issue. Also, said that I would get a call back. Two more weeks passed by and nothing happened. I called the store and spoke with another manger I believe his name was Thomas. I did not explain the whole situation again, because I have done that several times. He was still surprised and said that he did not know anything about that but would investigate it. He said that him being a person of color, he took that very serious and I would get a call that very day and apologized that nothing had been done until then. It is now been two more weeks and absolutely nothing has happened. We are in 2022 now and this kind of behaviors should definitely not be happening anymore. Being a veteran myself, it is sad that the people that I fought to protect harms each other with ignorant comments, let alone my own wife being the victim. However, nothing will ever change if the managers don’t do anything about that kind of behavior. If you are working on customer service and behave like that and there are no repercussions, this is indirectly letting the employees know that this kind of behavior is acceptable. Since then, my wife does not go to that store at all. It is sad to see the poor handling of this kind...

This rating is for the manager, Tami. To hear she’s worked here for a while but has the poorest customer service I've seen at any TJMaxx is super disappointing on TJMaxx's part. I’ve encountered several employees in the last few days here at the Brickyard location and all have been helpful, kind and professional. For your manager Tami, none of these apply.

I was told by one employee when I asked a question about a crack in a furniture item to not approach her because she's cranky. I appreciated her help and moved on. Not even 10 minutes went by when I witnessed her telling off a customer about her furniture question the other customer I could tell was upset for the way she was just treated and I went over to support her with the knowledge that what she was told by a different manager a few days ago I was also told to help legitimately validate her that sadly , cranky Tami could not. I thought I lucked out by not encountering her but I got to have my own Tami experience at checkout…

I asked for a discount on a chipped picture frame. Stephanie and Debra L. were super sweet but when Tami showed up she told them the $2.00 off was too much and that she'd only do 1.00 and I said 10% is 1.50 so could we just keep the 2 and she said "You know what, I could just put a marker on that and fix it and sell it as new. So no discount!" She then took the frame and walked away! Stephanie and Debi apologized and tried to deescalate the situation that just occurred but I was just flabbergasted that THIS person is your manager! To have employees that already know how to prepare customers for her and who are also afraid of this manager and then they themselves have to show better customer service than your manager Tami is so messed up! To whoever owns this store- do better! Your manager Curtis I have heard wonderful things about- they told me to come back when he is working. He may be the manager I spoke with...

The absolute worst shopping experience ever. I went in looking for a winter coat. I found a coat for 250.00 which seemed steep and had several different price tags attached. I saw that the line for the check out was completely full and running well past the area designated for waiting. I went to the jewelry counter to ask if they could price check it for me. I ended up waiting for more than 15 minutes while one cashier frantically ran around trying to help 2 customers. She ended up yelling at another girl walking by to help her since she was "swamped". The counter was full of product, it was a complete mess and no one was getting checked out. The girl began a transaction, then walked away. She came back and yelled at the other girl she had pulled into her area about not finishing the transaction, while the poor girl was trying to get the customer to shut up put her phone down and pay so the line could move. The actual jewelry employee left to help someone price check a purse that had come well after everyone else had lined up and waited. Finally my turn came. The girl asked of I had been helped after 15 minutes of standing in line. I said no and told her I wanted the price of this jacket. She said 250.00. I said I understand the price tag but there are less prices on other tags. Could you clarify please. She opened the jacket didn't recognize the brand, then told me I could Google it. At that moment, the actual jewelry employee came back, yelled at the girl again for it finishing the transaction that she had left to wander off and purse price check. The girl said I could take it go wait in the line and get a price check up front. I walked out jacket less and will never shop there again. I was ready to buy a $250.00 jacket and instead was told I could Google the...
