One of my favorite ice cream shops in the valley! Blacksmith is consistently delivery the best quality ice cream. I love that they change their flavors out every month but keep the fan favorites. The staff is super nice and great when you ask for samples. They are also prepare with an allergen list for those who have food allergies (which I’m grateful for since my sister has a severe nut allergy). They also have dairy free options, which is fantastic for those who can’t have dairy - something for everyone! If you can’t decide what you want and want to share, do yourself a favor and get the Flight - 4 scoops of any 4 flavors for under $10!! That’s an amazing deal!
The store stays clean and fresh cooked waffle cones can be smelled in every corner (yup! Even the bathroom!)
I always look forward to coming back to try more of their new flavors as well as revisiting the old ones. Highly...
Read moreExcellent ice cream. We got a flight and every single flavor was delicious and creamy. Prices were super reasonable with a flight of 4 kiddie scoops (comparable to reg sized scoops at most places) running $9.5 before tax. Genuinely flawless.
Honeybud (lavender + honeycomb) was an intense lavender flavor that toed the line with being too intense but never crossed into eating soap territory. The honeycomb bits were little sweet surprised that even I, somebody who does not like crunchy stuff in their ice cream, could appreciate.
Pistachio & cream was an intense, natural pistachio flavor that was one of the best renditions we've had.
Passion fruit was a non dairy flavor with the perfect level of tartness. Somehow, it even had the same creamy texture as the dairy options instead of the melt mess some non dairy flavors become.
Peanut butter cup was a decadent peanut butter flavor with little peanut butter cups reminiscent of Reese PB cups. I didn't like having to chew those but the ice cream itself...
Read moreI honestly use to love this place. The service is awful and not worth the price or drive. The manager himself needs to work on his customer service skills and the way he talks to his employees if front of customers. That was the most disappointing when visiting one of the times. This last time (which led me to leave the review) the girl helping us was touching her nasty earrings and rubbing her earlobes, then to scoop all of our ice cream. After seeing that we lost our ice cream appetite and didn’t eat any of it. We almost just walked out, but decided to stay and receive the cones just to toss them. I am aware good help is hard to find. But this is a tip to teach them about cleanliness and to be more aware of their dirty hands. Maybe wash hands before and or provide the young kids with gloves. We do appreciate the good Ice cream flavors but Handles from...
