At first, the staff was very friendly nice and helpful. My cousin and I were sharing a room. He and I were both recently discharged from the hospital. I have Stage 3 Colorectal cancer. Checkout came up and due to complications with my Cancer, I was extremely ill... I was unable to maintain consciousness as well as I had become incontinent... they threatened to call the police if I wasn't up and out in 10 minutes. I grabbed what belongings I could and went outside and sat down. I couldn't even walk. It was cold outside and I do not recall who I spoke to but an employee came out and told me I needed to get off the property or he'd call the police. I told him I was waiting on my Father to arrive to get me and he wasn't listening and he repeated himself... my father lives out towards spring branch so a good 45 min drive with no traffic. I was so cold my father told me to go back inside and wait for him. I told him what the person said to me about getting off the property and he said go inside and put the phone on speaker so he could let the person at the desk know that he was en route and the desk attendant refused to even hear what my dad had to say told me that he was sold by management to call the cops if I was on the property and kicked me back out into the cold. I went next door to the Pet Resort and they let me wait inside, when my father arrived he immediately rushed me to the emergency room to where I was admitted again and remained until the 6th of January this year! To add insult to injury they stole my Altec Lansing Super Life Jacket Jolt Pro 3 that in my attempt to gather my belongings had left on the nightstand by the bed plugged in charging. When I call from the hospital to attempt to retrieve my belongings they lie and say nothing was found in the room. Worst experience I've had in a...
Read moreThe rates weren't terrible. Be advised the carpet in the hallways is very stained and in need of replacement. It appears that this place is foreign owned and has a problem with being a service to members of society. They give the impression that you are at their service for their requests. My friend that accompanied us on our trip went outside to smoke and was accosted by a middle eastern staff member for not having a room key when asked if he was staying there. I approached the conversation as my friend was dismayed at the line of interrogation taking place. I showed the man my room key and he asked if I was checking out. I told him he could leave and go back inside, we would let him know if we needed anything else. This appears to have aggravated him. I had to chastise him like a little kid to get him to go back inside. Within a few minutes an elderly gentleman arrived and asked if we needed anything. I just explained the previous exchange to him and he apologized and said something to the effect of that being the owner manager. I really wouldn't reccomend any of the Wyndam places that you didn't have first hand knowledge of. The more I look into the ownership of this corporation the less that I like with what I am seeing. There are better...
Read moreSee a lot of nasty reviews. I’m not sure what you expect out of a hotel that largely sees airport traffic.
Had a whirlwind of a day, missed my flight and moseyed my way over to this place since it was the best price in the area. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and got me a king bed for my night & pre booked my transport to the airport in the morning for a slight charge as it was before the shuttle hours start (6am)
Of course the rooms are a little dated, but these days what hotel isn’t. AC/Heat works great, plenty of TV channels & the stand up shower with glass doors rather than any curtains is a nice touch as well. Room was musty when I got in but after running the air for a few minutes had no issues. They just hadn’t turned the window unit on to circulate the air.
Relatively quiet in the evening aside from the occasional plane coming in at night or louder engines/exhausts from the freeway across the way.
Not much you can walk to, but plenty you can order from if you need to grab a bite to eat.
Not bad at all for a...
