Gloria and Juanita were knowledgeable, attentive to detail and easy to work with. Thank you for assisting in selecting my wedding ring enhancer. I am excited and anxious to see my final piece. šā¤ļø
*Update
I returned my ring after many issues and poor craftsmanship. What was supposed to be wonderful experience turned into anxiety and let down. We went in on Monday February 5th, this was the first time at Jared. It was also the last time we had a good experience. My husband and I were getting married on 02/14, I wanted a ring enhancer to add to my engagement ring (not from Jared). I found the one that I thought was perfect. We were advised that it would likely not be ready by the 14th, understandable, then I was told that I had to leave my ring there to ensure it would match, fit, etc. I was super skeptical because I've heard those horror stories of jewelry stores altering customers rings. I trusted the process and left my ring. Since my ring isn't from Jared and a different shape (euro shank) the enhancer would be custom to fit my ring. At any time was this process consulted with the jewler in the back, no. We were told my ring would be ready by the 17th and would get a call when ready. We paid and left. I'm anxiously waiting for the 17th, it's Friday, the 16th, my husband gets an email at 5pm that the jewler ran into some issues and ring won't be ready, this is the late afternoon prior, why didn't we get a call earlier to discuss? The email states to come in tomorrow, the 17th, to discuss the matter. I arrive as soon as they open, I'm upset, I speak with one of the ladies (maybe Gloria) who had sold us the ring and she said that there were no issues and the ring would be ready, that the ring was in polishing. Ok so, a decision was made without consulting me? About 40 minutes later she comes to me with 3 separate rings. Apparently there was an issue and this was no longer an enhancer but now 2 bands and my engagement ring. I was not happy as this was not the plan. I then had to leave my rings there, again. I was told they would be ready Tuesday, the 20th. Ok, I have my husband pick it up for me, he sends me a picture, looks ok, but I needed to see in person. It looks great, I'm pleasantly surprised, relieved, happy. 2 days, just 2 days later after having my ring, I feel some coarseness, I look at it, there's a diamond missing on top, and it wasn't smoothed out as there were ridges in the areas where it is supposed to be smooth. I'm furious, sad, annoyed. I then take it back in on Thursday i believe, explain the situation and given apologies. It is fixed, ok so I leave. Then, on Saturday, the 24th, I again notice, while in bed, a rough piece that is snagging on things. I look down, ANOTHER DIAMOND IS MISSING!! This time in a different area. At this point I'm exhausted, I'm sad, pissed off, just every emotion. This was not cheap, money was spent, going back and forth, inconvenience, time, emotionally drained! On Sunday I go in, I ask for a manager immediately. A woman comes up, I explain the situation in the most calm demeanor I can. Another lady says, "yea I've seen her in here a few times". This manager asks if I want to look around for something else, absolutely NOT! After this experience, no thanks! I request a full refund along with our purchased warranty. While waiting for my refund i look at the ring, I'm sad, and guess what i notice, 2 diamonds are missing. I show the manager so she knows this is what's happening, she says "oh ok", and proceeds with the computer. This was by far an emotional strain, I even got sick during this ordeal due to the stress (and I have a very stressful career and this made me sick).
Think again before getting something made or done at Jared, maybe just buy something out of the display, or maybe not, I'm so glad I didn't agree to have it soldered as I would have placed my engagement ring, which I've had for 7 years and never any issues,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately I can't recommend this business.
I wanted a custom ring for Christmas and went in before Thanksgiving to get sized for it to have it done right the first time. When the ring came in a few weeks later it seemed like a much tighter fit than what I had ordered.
After a day of wear, I had to yank and pull and twist to get the ring off. It left an indentation on my finger.
I took the ring back to see if it could be sized for a more comfortable fit on my finger and was advised it would be an additional $49. When I declined, citing I came in ahead of time to have my finger properly sized for a comfortable fit so I will not be paying an additional fee as this seems like it was intentionally made smaller than I ordered, I noted I will just try to wear it on another finger although it doesn't fit any of them properly.
I was immediately advised that I can do a return and rebuy with a larger size so that way I don't have to pay a sizing fee. I agreed that would be a feasible solution. I thought this would be handled immediately but the associate advised she would need to take my name and number and have the original associate who sized my finger call me to facilitate this. She verified my number and I told her that is my husband's number but it's fine, he is an appropriate POC to facilitate this process.
It's now been 12 days and he doesn't have any voicemails indicating anyone from this store is trying to reach him. I'm no longer attempting to reach out because I already drove 20 miles there expecting this to be remedied only to told to go home and wait for a call that never came.
Avoid ordering custom jewelry from here. I won't be back. I will gladly at this point to pay another jeweler to resize it if it means I don't give anymore...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDon't go to this location. I spent about 5k at the one in the forum. They were great. The one on I-10 WOW! Went in there to upgrade my first purchase. Spent another 2k. Our salesman was really nice. However the people that work on the rings are terrible. My husband's new band had a dent in it. They blew us off and shined it and handed it back twice! Lol. Um dent is still there. Husband finally raised his voice and they said they would order a brand new one. Meanwhile my ring had black behind the diamonds. They steamed it three times making us feel like we were seeing things!!! Each time we told them it was still there they would put it under the microscope which was super irritating because we could see it with the naked eye. They finally said they would keep it overnight and pull the diamonds to get behind them. I had three rings soldered together and one of them didn't line up with the others but they argued that the middle diamonds are what's most important to line up even though they don't even line up. Felt like I was talking to a 5 yr old. I am still not 100% happy with my ring but I refuse to leave it with them yet again. They are so ridiculous I seriously fear they will lose my ring if I leave it with them again. So then Jared calls me saying my husband's new replacement ring is ready. He goes over there and THEY HADN'T EVEN SIZED IT YET!!!! They said they need the old ring back first. Well then why did you let us take it home the first time and why did you tell me it was ready for pick up over the phone??? Will never come here again. We have made 2 trips over there because of their mistakes and still have to make one more. Praying my husband's new ring has no problems after...
