Taco Palenque The RIM — Restaurant in San Antonio

The food here was delicious, but what really stood out to me was the exceptional service from Norma. From the moment we sat down, she went above and beyond to make sure our experience was outstanding. She didn’t just check in occasionally she consistently came by with a smile, asked if we needed anything, and made sure our table was always taken care of. She even brought us fresh corn tortillas without us even having to ask… so sweet!!! She always kept our drinks full, and ensured every detail of our meal was perfect. It’s rare to find someone who takes so much pride in their work, and Norma truly made us feel welcome and valued as customers. Her professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness are the type of qualities that make people want to come back… but not just for the food, but for the service. I’m glad I discovered this Taco Palenque location, and even more glad that I had the chance to be served by Norma. She is someone I’ll always look forward to seeing here, and I know her dedication and positive attitude make a big difference for this restaurant. Norma deserves recognition for the excellent job...

Food tasted good and condiments bar was clean and fresh. Only complaint I have is the older lady cleaning around ppl was too extra!! I’m trying to relax and have a little meal with the fam. She made us feel rushed and like she couldn’t wait for us to get up so she could clean! lol before my kids got off their chair she was already spraying the table and was upset about a couple balled up napkins I was going to pick up myself to dispose of. I saw her at the table across from us and she was about to throw someone’s food alway from someone who was obviously still dinning phone and keys still next to food. They guy came running back “no no no!” lol anywho I like a clean restaurant but just tone it down with pushing ppl...

WORST PLACE EVER the place was clean and things were good but the employees are terrible they gave us 2 ounces actually probably less in one caldo de res they didn’t have any coke we had to tell multiple times and the employees were rude. One of the employees said that the caldo de res had 2 ounces and they had to get the manager and she said that it was actually 4 ounces she said she would bring more, BUT SHE NEVER BROUGHT IT all the other taco palenques cleaned up our table without asking but the employees Rudely told us to clean up we obviously refused as the service was horrible and we have never been asked before to clean up in any taco palenque.
