Menchie's Frozen Yogurt — Local services in San Antonio

Went to get what we thought would be a delicious treat but ended with a bad taste in our mouths. As we walked in we asked if they were still open because it looked like they were already putting up a couple of the toppings so we didnt want to waste our time if they were closing. The rude cashier lady with black hair working the night of 6/21 said “yeah” and rolled her eyes at us. That should have been the sign for us to leave but we were really craving some good yogurt. After getting what we can my wife politely asked if they still had popping boba and the lady just shrugged and said “were closing” mind you this is 20 minutes before closing time at 10pm. My wife pointed it out that they were not closed yet and the lady just said no were closed, she literally just had to walk to the back to get some. Seems like the workers are not happy with their job as they were throwing things in the back room and we heard some screaming too. After we pay she then goes and mocks my wife as we walk out the door like a child. I do not recommend this location at all. Based off of reviews looks like this isnt the first interaction people have had with this person. If i could rate a 0 i would. Trash bins were overflowing just overall...

I have been going to this Menchie’s for a decade now and it has been going down in quality year after year. Today finally drove me to decide to never come to this location again. I don’t know if it’s a corporate thing but The flavors don’t ever change, they’ll have one of two new flavors based on the current new movie out. The rest of the flavors are always cake batter, Oreos ,vanilla ,chocolate and the stevia equivalent versions which taste horrible. Today I got there at 645 pm and they had only 3 working flavors. I went on a Tuesday for their 5 dollar fill your cup day for my children and they stated that they weren’t running that promotion due to a Veterans Day promotion of 6 dollar fill your cup (valid for one) this promotion is worse( cashier didn’t even bother to ask if I was a veteran which I was) and I had 5 dollars in rewards and the cashier said there was an issue with my rewards not syncing in the system and said there was nothing they could do. I’d highly avoid this location if I were you, and this is sad and not a good representation of the Lincoln...

Our experience at this Menchie’s has always been pleasant, but after not having visited for a while because of Covid, we decided to come out for some yogurt. While the yogurt was delicious, the older woman who works behind the register is rude. She watches you like a hawk as you taste the yogurt flavors and is stingy on the sample cups. If you ask for more, she makes a face and reluctantly sets more out on the tray. Even when she sets them out, she only puts about 8 out even though there a lots of people wanting samples. I’m top of that, she doesn’t keep the spoons readily available when you’re ready to pay for your yogurt. She hides them in a large tin behind the register. As I went to grab spoons for my family and I from the other register that she clearly wasn’t using, she scolded me like I was a child. What happened to the service at this place?
