Taqueria La Tapatia — Restaurant in San Antonio

I have been going to Tapatia for so long and different locations, but I have never experience what I experience at this particular location. Let’s just start off by saying we go in to sit down with a big family our table was dirty and we had to get someone’s attention just to clean our table while we were already sitting down for more than five minutes Here thinking they will come and help us, but instead, we need to get their attention and then on top of that I had six people on my table. My family they only brought us one basket of chips so I asked to bring another which they were annoyed by already my server was already rude from the beginning. I brushed it off and I said oh well continue to order. while I am giving the lady my order. I can’t even hear myself because I’m just hearing the background of the other workers girls. Let’s be specific just laughing and laughing not even using their inside voices so while I’m giving out my order, we wait for food ……. Now that the food is already being served to us on the table the waitress was not being careful with a very hot bowl of Pozole my little two year old was right next to us while she’s serving us. She almost touched her with that hot plate. She saw that I caught that and then whenever she was serving my husband, that’s when she said can you please move the baby because I don’t wanna burn her OK no worries so while my family is already getting served, everybody gets their food on the table as we’re eating I noticed I didn’t have any cabbage or onions for my posole so my husband is trying to get our waitress attention. It took him like three minutes to get her attention while he got her attention they look eye at each other. She still did not come, so that’s when I was getting frustrated and I got another person‘s attention, which was another waitress, and I asked her if I could just please have cabbage and onions for my posole and she said OK there I go I’m waiting another 10 minutes just to get cabbage and onions. That is ridiculous. So as I got up, I got frustrated. I did let the waitress know when I saw her what I needed She brushed me off and basically said I’m helping another person like girl I been waiting literally more then that other person and I’m like what so it takes them 15 minutes for them to get me what I’m missing with my order while my food is getting cold and my family is halfway done with their food. I haven’t even started with my bowl of soup because of cabbage and onions and at that the waiters were taking too long just to serve me more while there were three waitresses. they talking and laughing very loud that I’m sure anybody else would’ve been annoyed because of the fact that they have no manners and don’t know how to use her inside voices and doesn’t even know how to treat their customers it’s a Mexican restaurant, but none of the waitresses at that restaurant does not respect their customers especially good paying customers that always show them good business save yourself a headache save your money or go spend your money somewhere else because this location is not worth it even the atmosphere in that restaurant is not good. Feels like you’re being discriminated and no matter how many times I’ve tried just giving it a chance after a chance of a chance hoping the service will get better but every time I went, it just got worse. Had a lunch meeting about 3 weeks ago and was served the steak special but it was very nervy and didn't enjoy it but I didn't complain cause the meeting was more important. So today we went there again for another meeting and this time I ordered something simple that was IMPOSSIBLE to mess up. I went with the flauta plate and lo and behold they screwed that up too! I hadn't had breakfast yet so I started eating and as I was on the 2nd flauta I felt that the taste and texture seemed familiar. Turns out that what I was eating was ACTUALLY those Delimex taquitos that are sold in the grocery store. YUK! When I went to pay I asked the manager if they were Delimex and right away he tells me "no, we make them here." I told him that they sure look and taste like it and he just disagreed and charged me. But we ALL know what's going on here. I mean that all 3 flautas were exactly the same in the way they were filled and rolled. NOBODY makes 3 flautas EXACTLY the same. ONLY if you're a machine! This place sucks...

This place is great and all but the fact that I went by yesterday, drive thru and the lady that was there she took my order and the fact that I was telling her what I wanted and then she put the wrong number which she could of corrected me. Went by same day to get refunded my remaining the afternoon manager (wera) said to come the next day in the morning due to she couldn’t give me my refund. Now I came in the morning and the girl that help me was there (Maribel) she said oh that not my fault, which I mean she could have corrected me on my order. I spoke with the morning manager (Martin) and he said I can’t give you your money back cause I would have to talk to (wera). This is ridiculous am just driving back and for for they can just make a simple transaction!!!!! This is ridiculous of them ! Never had this problem until now. I like coming her but the fact that they don’t know how to fix a customers...
