I usually bring my kids to this place to have some fun. The biggest seller for me is that they stamp everyone with numbers to identify families and not allow some stranger to walk out with your kid. As for the food, usually it's very good. My kids enjoy it very much and we can gobble down a large pizza. However, I don't know if it was a different crust or maybe cuz we ordered a stuffed crust this time. The pizza came out very greasy. Last time we had just a regular large pizza and it was terrific. The drinks are nothing to brag about. It would be nice to see a better selection of drinks rather than just sodas and a fake tea dispenser. This time that we went, I meant to get sweet tea for my daughter. Only to find little Nats flying about the nozzle. I was very disappointed in this. The ice dispenser sounds like it barely has any ice at all. Every time I go there is always one that is empty. As for the games, the kids and I absolutely love it. I usually buy the 60 Minutes for $30, but right now they have a special for 8 weeks that I would highly recommend. Please pay attention if you do happen to get the game time. If your kids stop playing for any reason whatsoever. Make sure that they go up to the kiosk and pause their time. I learned that painful lesson the first time. My kids play for 30 minutes and sat down for about 20. Played for 10 minutes and then complain to me that their cars were not working anymore. Only to have the clerk tell me that the time does not stop unless you pause it yourself at the kiosk. My fault for not reading the small signs right? In any case, it's nice to have all of their tickets and points saved on these cards. You can recharge the cards at the clerk or the kiosk. You can also buy a wristband that acts the same way. Last but not least, I'm not sure if the other locations are having the same issues. But three times I've gone at this location and it seems they have a problem with their cooling system. About an hour is all I can really stand being in that place. It's not hot, but it is not comfortable to stay there long period.. my kids were sweating from moving about the place. Even I was sweating due to how warm it is inside. They do have these mobile ventilation systems that I'm assuming are some portable ACs. However, they cannot keep up with the square footage of the place. Hopefully they can get this...
Read moreI want to be fair giving this review but at the same time I don't want to lie, walking in the door they stamp your childrens hand and your hand so when you leave they can check by blacklight if your together, when I walked in I said I've never been here before what is the order of things here, I was told the cashier will explain it, when I asked the cashier how things work I got a blank stare, I then seen on the board prices are a little high for the food for a family oriented place, so if you can find coupons online, even then there is probably going ti be a catch, the prices for play cards are deceiving as you read unlimited play but there is a time limit which starts when you purchase the card, they say different things about the play card one it is good for x amount of time then they say x amount of plays, so to expect your children to wait and eat first then play don't work out. I ordered a small cheese pizza for my grandson which they consider a personal pizza and a salad for me and two small drinks plus a 30 minute play time card which came out close to $40.00 for the whole order, I waited for the pizza and when I received it, it was a pepperoni pizza the cook was very friendly and willing to do the order again but I declined thou his eagerness to make my order right made me feel better, he actually had Great customer service skills and should be the one they have at the front register, theres lots of games for kids, but not really for small children and the tickets you get from the games can get you small individual prizes that you can buy a bag for at the store for a dollar. The place is clean, food was okay, lots of noise from the games going on. So not worth the price, I'm glad I was able to check it out before hand as we were planning on a booking a birthday party there, but...
Read moreI used to work here and I thought it would be fun. I love kids and I figured how could it be bad right. I was wrong. I hated working here more than anything. I'm not the only one who felt this way. I worked as a party host and trust me I loved my party parents and they are what made my day better but we hardly get a break. Almost all the party hosts are running on little to no energy because we are constantly told we can't eat or order anything while working our parties. We have parties back to back. We get 30 minutes to clean our previous party and then we automatically start the next one. There is so many times that I was shaking and exhausted from being hungry and having to go to the back so my customers don't notice. Not only that but they would give me my schedule and change it every week last minute on me or the day of without asking if I was even able to do it. Sometimes I would be off and then they would call and ask me why I didn't come in because they changed it and didn't tell me. Theres also favoritism among the employees. If they didnt wanna work it that day they would pick someone and make them do it. All this for what only 7 or 8 dollars depending on how much they wanna hire you on. Its ridiculous. If any customers are reading this and your gonna have a birthday party there try to be nice to your party hosts, I promise you they are trying. I was scared to write this because all the people I worked with are still there and the amount of back stabbing and back talking They do about each other is astounding. Please consider this before applying. Who knows maybe they'll treat you better but I had to let anyone know for anyone thinking about applying at the chuck e. Cheese on 238 SW...
