The food is good but the atmosphere is not what it used to be. When it first opened only a few months ago, the restaurant had a TV and music, which was GREAT for the atmosphere. We used to love to go in there to eat because we could also listen to music but now they no longer play music nor do they have a TV. Now you order and it is TOO quite in there its almost like if you are in a cafeteria instead of a nice restaurant. ALL nice restaurants that I know of have TVs and also play music. Or at least they play music. We no longer go eat here alot because of this. We only order to go sometimes, but that takes away from the restaurant making more money due to us no longer buying drinks there and the waitresses also aren't receiving the tips because we order to go. MANAGEMENT SHOULD REALLY BRING BACK at least the MUSIC. The restaurant seems TOO BORING because its too quite. No longer a great atmosphere! ATMOSPHERE plays a huge part of a restaurant. First of all, I watched the cook prepare our meals WITHOUT a mask on the ENTIRE time. My husband ordered enchiladas and I ordered the Jalisco burrito. Neither of our meals had the traditional sauce that you typically see on burritos or enchiladas. The entree was straight, CHEESE. Pardon my language, but enough cheese to make anyone constipated (I included a photo). My cup of rice had a hair in it.. the hair was half white and half black (obviously not my own hair). I was just very turned off by this establishment. That's the first time I've witnessed someone not wearing a mask while preparing food for the public, nor was he wearing a hair net. I want to make everyone aware of this violation. Our waitress was nice and she provided great service. But that's about the only nice thing I can say about this place. I had originally given this place 5 stars but my recent visit was not very nice. Specials were ok the Mojarra was too overdone but our server was great.once I got to the checkout another server was charging me $69 for 2 specials, one menudo, and 3 drinks and when I told her she got angry and lowered it to $39. That was still too much and I told her again and she got defensive. She said we ordered refills and to go cups. We said no and she insisted until shr lowered it to $30. From $69 to $30 what a horrible thing. Then she goes and tells our server that I lied and even our server told her she was wrong.
