We bought our beautiful vacation home in Fredericksburg, TX a couple years ago, but it needed some upgrades and re-design in the front yard. I came up with the idea to build a stone-walled entry garden and wanted the perfect entry gate and side gate for not only looks, but to prevent deer and other grazers from freely coming into my herb garden. In Fall 2021, I hired Zack Roeder to solve the problem. He saw the house, assessed the architecture and listened to what we wanted. Shortly after,  he designed the most amazing computer images for us to see. Within a week or so, he delivered and installed a product that was beyond what we could have ever imagined. In 2023, we installed a commercial vineyard and needed to install a gate for a breezeway, not only for security, but to keep deer and rabbits out of the vineyard. He absolutely nailed the design and install. The first of his work has been installed since 2021.....it's still durable and beautiful. The new addition on our breezeway is still durable and beautiful and has kept out deer and rabbits from our vineyard . Zach and I met at the shop on the weekend to talk about my unique project requirements. He took the time to understand my vision and offered some suggestions based on his experience. He involved me in part of the design process to ensure we were on the same sheet of paper as we tossed some ideas around. I figured I'd have to come back in a couple of weeks to pick it up, but he said "let's go do it". I had the opportunity to observe the manufacturing process, as well as observe his skills, and throughout all of it ask even more questions. We were under a lucky star when we met Zachary. We have some wrought iron basket planters that were made specifically for some of our windows that were almost 2 decades old and had fallen apart. We didn’t know who originally made them, and had no idea who to turn to. We decided to go to the SP farmers market, and lo and behold! We met Zachary. He came and took a look at what we had, took them down, and went to his studio and made new ones!
