UPDATE: I shop here often. Very often. They recognize my wife and I - every visit. I will ask to speak to an LOD next time I’m there in the AM.

Here’s what happened - I was followed around the entire store by 3 different employees, as I shopped for baby and toddler clothes and some toys and small groceries. It was harassing, and not up to Target standards. Not once did they ask me “Can I help you find something?” - instead, they stalked me, made me uncomfortable, then made it obvious they were.

As I was checking out, there were no cashier’s lane open. I had to use self checkout for about 25 items. Second mistake, Target.

I did 2 separate transactions. One for all the baby stuff, which earned me a $20 GC. Paid it. $111.72. I always use the cards on separate transactions to save money.

As I’m finishing my second transaction (myself) and begin to pay for it, MAGICALLY, I get a team member approach me and say, “You’re not gonna be able to use the gift card for this payment.” I had already scratched the access code on the back of my card.

She’d been standing behind me the whole time, and never greeted us or asked to help. We tell her, “We do it all the time with cashiers” and she responds with a rude “Well, Target just started this new thing - press back and choose another payment method”

I paid the whole thing and didn’t argue - I’m pretty passive in these situations. $124.69.

Coming from service AND loss prevention, it’s incredible how fast you can ruin a GREAT EXPERIENCE over nearly 15 years - in just one night.

I was profiled, harassed, then discriminated against in using coupons and discounts - all in one night. I won’t publish the team members names here - I’ll save that for my corporate complaint.

As I left, I was followed by an employee - and a police officer was waiting outside. As I loaded up my vehicle, the officer drove off and made eye contact with me. I confirmed it wasn’t just paranoia.

I spent over $200 - because you had previously earned my business.

You aren’t the least expensive retailer, or the most convenient to my location. Your store aisles are usually under stocked, or mislabeled, but at least you had good service, an mobile app to check prices, and good coupons.

Now you only have a mobile app - like every other retailer. I’ll be back soon to return all the merchandise and speak to the manager to give her my complete opinion and stand up for my money.

The reason I gave a 1 star is due to security reasons. My shopping experience was not unsatisfactory, but the security issues brought it way down. I entered the store and within a couple of minutes I take my sons to use the restroom. When I have my sons, I typically use the handicap restroom due t having more space. I noticed upon entering there was somebody in the handicap restroom, so I went ahead and took them into a different stall. Although, I noticed the woman in the handicap stall was sitting awkwardly on the commode from the view underneath the stall. After we all went restroom; she was still there in the restroom stall. Right after, we went to get some popcorn and drinks for our shopping trip. We browsed around for about 20-30 minutes when my son needed to go restroom again. As we enter the restroom, I noticed the same woman is still in the same stall. I began thinking if she is okay, but then I hear rustling as if she's going through a makeup bag. Not too long after she comes out of the stall and she is a little wobbly. I see her face and she has sores and cuts on her face and I realize she is a substance user. She was in the stall for over about 30 minutes during my visit. I don't know how long she was in there before I got there. My main concern was why didn't security notice this woman in the restroom for so long. I feel this Target location failed in the area of security because what if this was a different case and it wasn't a woman doing drugs in the restroom? Or perhaps she was so high and she end up hurting somebody. All in all they need to upgrade...

I like this store and I used to work at this target a very long time ago over 25 years ago or more. It was a temp job and got to learn about retail which is a difficult job, lots to do many departments! So my only problem with target is they no longer carry Fresh Pet for Cats!!! Why is that?? It's been a few months that I have to travels farther than I need to, when I buy this food for my cats I buy all 6 or the whole box it comes in? These I freeze for my cats and it's the same six even though I have only 3 kitties left from the family I buy 6 anyway. I have to travel to petco on military drive by Goliad road and it's 2 bus changes which make no sense and a Via van to get out of my neighborhood just to be able to buy this? So I guess from now on I will have to go to petco and buy all my food from them, cause what is the use of buying some food here and then have to get back on the bus with heavy cat food bags just to go get 6 small bags?? Then I have to walk back with these heavy bags in a small grocery cart. And I'd wish they would bring back the beyond cat food as well! Cats eat food just like dogs but they don't Eat Corn as a first ingredient??? You have some pretty good off brand that I buy and I buy Racheal Raye food but all that other stuff it just not good for pets!!! It can be a bit pricey but so are other stores all in all that has not stopped me from buying things I like other than the Cat Food, please find a way to bring Frest Pet Back or another brand will be great.
