Coral Thrift Shop — Local services in San Clemente

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. As soon as I walked in the older lady was pushy about all the children’s “cute clothes” then took my bag out of my hand. As we walked around the corner she started talking smack about how we “already have 3 kids” (as I am pregnant right now) then started laughing. As we were looking around at the wet suits the other worker lady walked over and asked my kids if they each wanted a book that they were all free so they each picked one out then she made a comment about how we are such a big group that we should all just have one which for the benefit of the doubt - she was just trying to be nice.. I then asked if they weren’t used to seeing big families around here or something and she answered no they weren’t I then commented that there’s nothing wrong with having lots of kids that it just means we’re strong people. my husband just wanted to put the books back and leave since they were being judgmental but my kids insisted on getting a book- as we are walking out the first ignorant lady stops my son and goes “no you can’t have that one that one is $4 pick another book”

These people here are snobby and have terrible attitudes that really have no business running a shop if they are just going to judge different kinds of people who come in to give them business. Save yourself the time and go next door to the Fam Resale Shop... they are SO sweet welcoming and deserve...

Coral Key Thrift Store gets in alot of collectibles, excellent to very good condition used clothing, and whole lot of other stuff. I learned that all the staff are volunteers, 100% of sales goes to Charities, and paint utility bills!! This was not your normal thrift store. They were very nice and had a lot of very nice things including lots of clothes that some have original tags on them from the store they came from.
