Crumbl — Restaurant in San Clemente

This location isn't too small or big it was just the right size, enough to place an order and go. It seems they change their flavors weekly? I'm not too sure, but now that I finally got around to posting my review a week or so later, the menu has changed. The person who took my order was ok. He didn't really make an effort to recommend certain cookies or anything. I ordered 1/2 dozen cookies so that we can sample all the flavors and one large banana upside down cake.

Milk chocolate chip - I think it was the best. You can't mess with a classic.

Pink velvet cake cookie - I'm not too sure what they were going for here. Is it supposed to be similar to a red velvet cake only pink? Didn't really taste like anything.

Kentucky butter cake - Everyone seems to rave about this, but after trying it, I'm not sure what all the hype was about.

Confetti milkshake - Tasted like a sugar cookie with confetti sprinkles

Sticky bun - This was definitely sticky, but I liked what they tried to do here.

Large banana upside down cake - This tasted like a banana bread, fluffy, and moist. I liked the whip cream or whatever it was with the caramel drizzle.

Overall, it was alright. Something good to try again and try the new flavors they have. I like that they are trying to be creative and innovative with the flavors. Maybe I'm just old school and prefer...

Wow!!! Talk about amazing. Here’s what happened in less than 30 minutes. I wanted to return a kindness that had been offered to me by an employee at the local San Clemente pharmacy. Hmmmmm what could I do to truly thank someone for helping me so much???? A friend had told me about how Crumbl Cookie delivers. I literally downloaded the app (in less than 15 seconds) clicked a few buttons, put in a crazy generalized location description… (I only had the first name of the employee) Also, the app even gave me a box to write a personal note to the recipient! Apple Pay popped up and BAM, I was done in about two minutes total! I was dying at how easy it was. It was just a little bit longer and she literally got delicious cookies delivered right to her at the pharmacy - including my note of gratitude for her kindness. WoW!!! everything from start to finish seemed to only be minutes. She actually called to thank me and she couldn’t believe the amazing cookies. She was so appreciative. Shout out to the customer service at this store! I live in Winston Salem, NC and ordered cookies through the Crumbl app for a friends birthday to be delivered to her home in San Clemente. Not too long after placing my order and waiting on the delivery, I got a notification that my order had been canceled. I called the San Clemente store to see what was going on and why the order was canceled. I got the wonderful Kate on the phone, who informed me that the Door Dasher (who Crumbl uses for delivery) had picked up my order and then canceled the order. I was offered a refund and told that they would be in contact with me about that. Not even 5 mins later I got a call back from Kate saying she was headed that way on her break and she so selfishly offered to deliver the cookies to my friend. Kate went above and beyond and I, days later, still cannot get over this act of kindness. What a wonderful person!
