Came to the mall last Sunday (15DEC2024) to have a date day/shopping outing and movie night with my wife. Beyond spending an inordinate amount of time trying to simply get in the parking lot and then struggle to find parking I am hugely disappointed with AMC. It is my first time coming to this theater and normally I am happy with The LOT at NTC since it has comparable amenities, isn’t a hassle and they don’t charge for parking. This AMC had the standard amenities that movie theaters need to compete with the pleasures and comforts of home streaming. However, AMC completely dropped the ball with customer service WRT to this parking debacle. After spending the afternoon at the mall, watching Glad-II-ator (such a huge disappointment!) and spending THOUSANDS on Christmas merchandise at multiple stores in the mall my wife and are were saddled with $15 parking fee to leave. I couldn’t believe it. I never come here and had no idea. But worse, our theater experience could have validated the parking but AMC failed to communicate that when we bought the tickets online and no one at the ticket scan, bar or concessions mentioned it or offered it. $15! Wasted ! That is the price of a whole movie ticket experience that won’t be spent ever again at AMC because they already fleeced me thanks to UTC charging for parking. As far as I am concerned UTC can go out of business for all I care if they are going to fleece customers like that. There are better, less crowded venues elsewhere. And they wonder why theaters are dying and malls are dying? When they nickel and dime folks that can otherwise keep these businesses afloat they will...

FOOD EVERYTIME I go here they are out of peperoni pizza and often out of other options besides popcorn, once is ok every time is NOT. Usually they only have 4 cheese pizza. Sliders are tiny one bite sized not like pictures don't get them. They really should do a better job at inventory management and order before they run out of food. At least carry a bag of pepperoni and convert those cheese pizzas no one wants to pepperoni!!!
ODERING FOOD Ordering through the Kiosk only is a huge hassle and finding my QR code is another hassle. Its always difficult to find the QR code in the app should be under profile but it is not. Ordering experience here is the worst.
GOOD FOOD PREP Order prep and pick up is very fast its usually ready before I get there from the Kiosk.

I normally don’t leave reviews but after how my friend and I were treated I felt the need to. If you are a bartender anywhere you should know the difference between a real and fake id. I don’t care that you’re in a theater, you should be trained to know the difference. After handing our real Michigan ID’s the bartender gave us a weird look and then acted like she scanned them. She said they didn’t scan. Which is false because again, they are our REAL IDS. We show her MULTIPLE other forms of identification including a non expired passport. This business really needs to rethink who they hire because obviously the people you have now are incompetent. Also, the theater seats were dirty before we sat down, and the bathrooms were a MESS.
