This is our third time shopping through this furniture store. Each time has been a wonderful experience. This last time Julie had found my husband and I on the floor. We had a larger project with multiple rooms so she got us connected with a designer who reached out same day. Rebecca one of their designers came to our house to help with measuring, layout, colors and vision of what we were looking for with filling space of how we wanted to live and entertain. Rebecca has such a great eye and understanding what we wanted by listening to us when she visited our house. Rebecca presented her choices and layout to us in the showroom and it was perfect for what we were looking for. Julie has also really helped me as I have been deciding between options and I needed to go back into the showroom and see items in person if Rebecca has been off or in other appointments she has been able to step up and assist. She also has gone above and beyond with sending me pics of art and decorations on the floor so I could see the colors and movement verses how it is displayed online. She also helped find a paint color on the wall in showroom so I could match that room more closely. Between the two of them they have been in constant communication as each order and delivery has been executed. They have been excellent at communicating as deliveries have changed as well. Most have changed for the positive moving forward not behind. Many of our furniture items were in stock but some we had to wait for since they were made to order with fabric options we chose etc. As I read through others reviews of not wanting to wait or frustrated with delays...I understand no one wants to wait. But being patient has paid off because each piece that comes through my door is absolutely beautiful and feels like one of a kind that was made by hand for us. Completely worth the wait! We purchased 4 Gage counter stools for over $1900 from the San Diego store. I was debating between the Flint (gray) and Carbon (charcoal) color and landed on the charcoal. I have an all white kitchen with gold hardware and when the charcoal color arrive, I felt it was way too over powering in the space. When I called to return, the sales associate didnât even know the return policy and had to check with her manager. Several calls later and a visit to the store, I finally found out that there was a return fee and a restocking fee that equals almost the same price as one chair, $199 restocking fee and $179 shipping fee. This is included in the fine print on the receipt after you buy. I even offered to return them to the store myself but apparently this is not an option. I have seen all the negative reviews on here and Iâm disappointed that I did not ask more questions from the sales associate but at the same time, I feel that they should be very upfront on their policy before you buy. They have zero items in stock so why should the customer have to pay for shipping as well as restock fees when an item does not work in their space. I will not be buying anything from this...
