The sales person and the manager of this location lied to my face and to my wife’s face in order to dupe us into signing a contract under false pretenses. They promised us a price of $164/mo. The computer screen showed $189/mo, but they assured us at least 6 times that the final price would drop to $164/mo after the first month’s bill.
Not only did the price NOT drop to $164, but in fact, even the $189 turned out to be bogus, as we have been billed 3 months at over $200. I called into AT&T customer service center, who informed us that there is nothing we can do other than to downgrade our service.
Further, the AT&T customer service center manager explained that she gets numerous billing discrepancy complaints from this location, and was not surprised to hear about this issue.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION & DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD OUT OF THEIR MOUTHES - learn from our mistake!! Better yet, pick a different carrier because AT&T’s service quality in the SD area is poor at best… we switched to save money and are now paying more than we were paying before, with poorer coverage and worse customer support… ouch!!!

Read moreMy daughter took my 86 year old mother into this store to get assistance with a problem with her older but pristine iPhone. There had been an intermittent problem with the phone losing service and reporting "no SIM card", and then it had lost service completely.
The associate, Carlos, told them that it was indeed a bad SIM card, but unfortunately AT&T no longer supplied replacements so the only solution was to purchase a new phone. Luckily, my daughter decided not to proceed and to seek advice elsewhere before committing.
This caused several days of head scratching and various attempts to resolve the issue ourselves. My elderly mother had no phone handy for a week.
We took the phone to the AT&T store in Loma Square (Rosecrans St and Midway), where the associate, Hugh, took a quick look and said all it needed was a SIM card which are readily available, he had one immediately at hand, and are free.
He had the phone in service in 15 minutes at no charge.

Employees made a number of false statements, indicating they are not knowledgeable of AT&T products and services. One employee was physically unable to perform an important job function due to thick, pasted on, fake nails which protruded well more than an inch past her fingertips.
The employees had poor attitudes. I detected racial animosity from at least one of the employees.
