CUSTOMER SERVICE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT. From all the reviews you would think this place would have treated this issue better. I bought my wife a pearl diamond neckless for our 30th anniversary and asked for the original clasp on the chain to be replaced with a slightly larger/stronger one. I paid $65 for the lobster clasp they recommended. Not a problem. My wife wore it (3) times within a couple of weeks and by the 4th time the spring in the clasp broke. I took it back and spoke with Arasto. He said he would have it repaired. GREAT! My wife went back to pick it up and Bena said the cost of repair is $20. My wife said there wasn't any cost mentioned to repair the broken clasp and Bena said Arasto told me there would be a cost for the repair. TOTALLY A LIE! And Bena accused my wife of opening the clasp incorrectly and it was her fault. REALLY?? it's a clasp and the spring broke. I asked Bena couldn't the clasp have been bad to begin with? It's possible right? Bena denied that possibility. This clasp should have lasted for years NOT a couple of weeks. When I went back to speak with Bena and she said the $20 cost was for the out sourced jeweler to solder a new clasp. That should have been covered by Bena for a bad clasp, but NO she argued and said we had to pay for the out sourced jeweler's time to solder on the replacement clasp. She even said I can't guarantee that product. (I have an audio recording of her saying that!) If Bena hired a plumber to replace a broken water pipe and in two weeks the replaced pipe had a hairline fracture and needed replacing again, would she like to hear from the plumber you now owe me for coming back and replacing the fractured pipe. I brought in one sterling silver necklace in to be repaired in May and at that time purchased a white gold chain as well. The repair took over a month as they did not do it correctly the first time; I did not attempt to wear that necklace until August, and the clasp immediately fell off. The white gold chain had broken by July. Very disappointing. I took it in to the shop, and Benafsha stated that they do not guarantee any repairs or products. I stated that the white gold chain had been sold to me as new for over $200; she glanced at it and stated “it’s been pulled”—it had not been. I told her it has not been pulled, and she said “Oh these things can get pulled even just by putting them on.” After two months? And after I specifically asked for a chain that would hold up? I told her that the sterling silver chain that they had repaired had not even been worn once, and she repeated, “We don’t guarantee any repairs.” I told her that I would have to leave a bad review; she said “Go ahead, I’ll reply.” All this with two other customers in the store as well. I said I would be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau; she replied “For $20?!” in a snarky tone. I replied that the white gold chain was over $200. She said “I could sell you a Bugatti, and if some one dings it in the parking lot, you can’t go back to the dealer.” I pointed out that if I brought the car home and something failed on it within a month, I absolutely could. I left at that point as she was getting escalated. Terrible quality, even worse customer service.
