Claire's — Local services in San Diego

Came here on a Friday because I procrastinated in getting accessories for a wedding my daughter and I were attending. I had no idea what to get for myself but my daughter was picking out anything that would go with her outfit. My daughter had fallen in love with a pair of earrings but unfortunately she does not have pierced ears. She did not want to wear the clip-on earrings either. At this point my daughter was very discouraged and starting to feel upset. A nice lady, her name was Veronica, had been coming to us to check up on us once in a while. When we needed her help I told her what our situation was and she right away said, "okay hold on". At first I was confused, unsure if she was going to assist us or not. Moments later she comes back, with a necklace with the same stone my daughter had loved on the pair of earrings. My daughter went CRAZY for it! She had also included a nice statement bracelet and recommended some makeup from the store. (Which by the way, her makeup was so beautifully done!) She walked around the store with my daughter showing her a few choices. We also ended up buying a backpack because my daughter was going back to school and needed school supplies. My daughter was so thankful for her. What I didn't know, my daughter told me when we were in the car, was that they had a one-on-one talk and Veronica pretty much helped my daughter out with bringing up her self esteem. Not only is she there to sell, but she is there if you ever need someone to talk to or get advice from. This moment is forever in my daughter heart. My daughter wants me to let Veronica know that the necklace will always remind her of her and of all the things she said.

I would not suggest getting Your ears pierced here. I suggest going to a tattoo place or with experienced people that have done piercings for a long time. I got a second whole and the small round earing got stuck inside my ear. I've gotten my ears pierced before and never had a problem like this (got the first one at Walmart 9 years ago). I had to go to the doctor to get it removed, it was very painful. The girl at Claire's didnt warn me about the earing being too small or that it might go inside my ear for any reason. I was so excited to my ears pierced since I was saving money for it and I was conflicted on getting them done. Unfortunately, I ended very disappointed, I spent over 30$ to get my ears pierced and to just to get it removed a week in...

The store has many things cute things to buy, My son took his daughter for ear piercing here. I think it is too expensive they charged 65 dollars and one of her earing came off while she was sleeping so we tried to put it back on but it closed we took her back they wanted to charge 65 dollars again just to put it back on and said we needed to buy new earing couldn't use the same ones we walked out of there never came back it's ridiculous how they want to take advantage of the situation and charge way to much for ear piercing...
