Flamingo Motel — Hotel in San Diego

Whoever the arrogant guy is answering the phone has HORRIBLE customer service!! Absolutely horrible!! I called asking for a room if any were available , he said yes. I said ok how much for tomorrow night? He then hangs up on me . Seriously? I called back a few times & they wouldn’t answer OK jerk I’ll take my hard earned money elsewhere for a better room. Someone I know told me that place is absolute trash . There are cockroaches , stained bedding, a dried bloody tampon behind the bed. It stinks & of course bad customer service , with the people in the office very rude . Do NOT GO...

Common, for 65 bucks, tax included, I do not think you will find anything cheaper so close to the border. No A/C which is an incovenience, and some units are so close to the freeway you can hear noise all day/ and night (if you open the windows). That said, the shower has hot water, the bed is not great but you can sleep on it, and the area is not too bad. This is a motel for 1 day stay or maybe two and that is it. One option near is the Roadway Inn just one block away, for 75 bucks plus tax. The rooms are better but, then you have the trolley noise...

It was dirty. $65.00 and if we returned key we got $5 back. Didn't even take a shower. Very dirty carpet. Old place. Old bathroom Windows.
