Very pleased with my experience so far. They offer an intro class which I did to check out if I liked the studio. The parking situation is easy which is very important to me because I need the gym to be an easy get in get out process. They offered me a 20% discount for the first 3 months if I signed up right after the intro class, I don’t like when companies are pushy like that, trying to pressure you into a decision right away so I asked if they would offer the same discount when I went to sign up a few days later and they did. They offer classes every hour starting from 6am until the last one starting at 730pm which is why I ended up choosing this gym. A lot of gyms don’t start early enough and don’t offer enough class times. The classes are challenging but in someway relaxing, they have a lot of regulars so there is chatting and joke telling which makes things fun. Other reviews talk about it being hard to get into classes because of waitlists but I found if you schedule 2-3 weeks out you can get into pretty much any class you want. As long as you plan on being consistent you shouldn’t have issues but if you decide day of you want to go it’s probably not...
Read moreI signed up for an intro class after seeing an advertisement on Facebook. On the phone, I was told that I could purchase grip socks right there, so I didn't bother carrying my older pair. When I got there, there were no low-rise socks available in my size (both models were out of stock for my size). In my size, there was only a high-rise light gray sock but I'm uncomfortable with high-rise and also I was looking for black to match the rest of my outfit. So I purchased on Amazon my socks right away, told staff that I was going to have them for my first class, and asked if I could use a spare or go without for the 30 min intro. They said no to both questions and insisted that I should purchase the high-rise, gray socks or just reschedule. Apparently, this business is willing to lose a potential new customer over a pair of socks which just blows my mind. They already spent money through Facebook ads to get me there and for sure there's no ROI if I don't subscribe. Obviously I left and would never get back to this place due to the unhelpfulness and arrogance that I...
Read moreI used to enjoy my experience at Club Pilates, but unfortunately, my last interaction left me very disappointed. One of the new instructors was completely lacking in empathy and was outright rude when I tried to explain my hearing issue. After the incident with Chelsey, I felt so uncomfortable that I left the class and canceled my membership on 6/10.
Despite not having any classes scheduled after that date, I was charged a cancellation fee for a class on 6/15. When I brought this up, I was told there was nothing they could do about the charge. I expected better customer service, especially given the circumstances.
This experience has not only been frustrating—it has also made me feel anxious about going back to any studio to work out. As someone who values a safe and supportive environment, this situation has made it harder to feel confident returning to group...
