Clairemont Coffee — Restaurant in San Diego

Much cheaper than Starbucks, and worth your time. The place is cozy; not to mention a good taste in lounge music and their specialty drinks completely far from overwhelming. In a small, it will satisfy you. The place is very vegan friendly, too; and the employees are respectable and smiling people.

"Leah" is my favourite. It's a Mexican chocolate and coconut blended specialty drink (and it is a latté). I then tasted their hot chocolate and their other specialty, "Sierra" (another latté blend: macadamia nut and maple spice). Unlike Starbucks, they know how to incorporate their flavours in the right proportions. The key notes don't sink to the bottom of your cup and collect there until you've about swigged all of your drink until you are sipping syrup and clumps of sweet powder.

They have a menu visibly ample with options in constructing your beverage, too. It is right there for all to browse; welcoming you to create your own unique drink. The place doesn't try to be luxurious - it tries to be open.

Enjoy this location happy its been around since my Clairemont high schools year. Clean location services is professional and friendly. Best coffee hot or cold options check out their season drinks very personal. I love that they honor bring your own personal cup for your bev. I do because I dont like the taste of single use plastic. I also love the diversity of customers thay visit the shop all ages, walks of lives, service members military, officers and if you sit at the front bench by fall you can see the sunset on a clear day. Also if you need a printer they have a 3rd party printer 🖨 easy to figure out open till 8pm so in case your printer acts up this coffee shop is loaded with resources, local artists shop wall and I enjoy seeing the corner wall of local business or events the Barista team is above and beyond in service and getting your order as...

Today I’ve walked from my AirBnB up the hill to Clairemont Coffee. CC is a cozy neighborhood haunt serving locals and people such as me who are looking for a bit of an escape.

My order today included a cappuccino with a double shot of espresso, which was kindly offered, and an iced Americano for the walk back.

Cheers to CC for crafting a bold cappuccino! To be honest, I’m unsure if my drink would have had the same kick if not for the two shots. Regardless, I am happy. While the overall craft and presentation lacked the degree of care and attention to detail I value, the flavor was very good.
