My family and I got completely outfitted with boots and skis by Jim in 2021. I am finally coming around to make a review. Family of six with various levels of skiing ability. Fantastic experience. Lots of back and forth on what level the kids would be at once the season was over - meaning we talked a lot about what the end goal was versus what they needed if they were just going to be beginners forever.

We also needed to find boots for my wife who has a very funky arch/width issue to accommodate.

Jim came through with flying colors. Everyone was comfortable with their setup, including my wife who previously could not find a ski boot that did not hurt.

Jim at Norpine set me up with a great set of ski boots. He has been doing this a long time I could tell and he got me into the right boots very quickly. He spent the time to cut down some custom inserts based on my foot shape and ultimately I walked out with a sweet set of Atomic boots. He doesn't have a ton of brands but what he does stock is quality and he knows what he is doing. He has skis, boots, poles and even some sweet ski and boot travel bags. For accessories he had some helmets and goggles. He has some backcountry ski gear also including AT boots and skis. The shop is tucked away to the left and behind the front of the Sprouts in Claremont Village. Jim is incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and just a great guy all around. I bought my ski poles from his location and I've absolutely loved them. Any time I've had an issue or needed a replacement or repair (ferrules or baskets, etc.) he has always come through promptly and effectively. A good an honest businessman is rare to come by these days and Jim is certainly one of the good ones. Hopefully once I've got a bit more spare cash saved up I'll be getting fitted for new ski boots here - I trust his judgement and skill far more than buying them from a big box store or off the internet and hoping they...
